2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe, Great except gas mileage.
When purchasing this car last year the mileage was listed at 18-26 mpg. It barely gets 19 mpg, and so far its never met 20 mpg's. In this day and age its terrible that we cant be getting at least 25 mpg's
Great little SUV!
I have had my 2012 Terrain for less than three weeks now and simply love it. For the price, it is a quality vehicle.

LOAD HER UP! RUN HER OUT!
This 4 cyl is fully capable of annual trips to Florida Keys, LOADED with 2 kayaks on top, 2 bikes on behind and pulling a small boat trailer while getting satisfactory mileage . MPG is much better at 60 than at 75 mph! Very comfortable car. This was a great car and proved a good trade-in value when we updated to a 2016 Subaru Outback Ltd. I would still prefer the Terrain, but have to admit we are both pretty comfortable with our Outback, which does a remarkable job of transporting us to and fron the Florida Keys!

Just keeps on going
Our 2012 Terrain is the SLT-2 AWD 3.0L . For whatever reason that option is not available here. That said, this vehicle has been rock solid and has 208,000+ miles on it. Fuel economy runs 18 city/22 hwy, 24 hwy on a good day. No issues with only normal maintenance. Our dealer said they had never seen a Terrain with 199,000 miles on it and that was two years ago. It's been banged up, but always repaired. I'll drive it until the wheels fall off. Heading to Florida next month for a wedding and have total confidence in the vehicle. Liked the Envoy Denali we had before this better, but it got totalled. This Terrain has been a real trooper.

GMC Terrain 2012
Had the car for less than a month when I bought it and the transmission jerked, oil was always needed, and it would just be a major headache. Cute little SUV but the cosmetics don’t matter when it’s not a dependable vehicle. Smh would not recommend to anybody.

A headache
may never own another GMC because of my experience with the terrain. It's bulky and has slow acceleration especially on the highway. The metal on the sides of the windshield are big blind spots. Back-up camera only works 25% of the time. Exhaust system had leaks and this car goes through SO much oil. The key and computer stopped talking/became uncalibrated, requiring a whole new calibrated key. I had to have the engine replaced and less than three years later the timing chain broke.
