Used 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Consumer Reviews
worst GMC I ever owned
@ 55000 miles I have replaced the starter, 3 condensers , oil cooler radiator , vacuum pump,@ 100,00 rebuilt transmission , and the GPS tells me I am in the North Atlantic, now being a retired Merchant Marine Captain I'm pretty sure I'm not in the North Atlantic. I have owned GM products since 1966 and this is my last, and oh yes when I went to replace rear brake pads the emerency shoes where not installed correctly

2015 GMC Sierra 1500 double cab with the 4.3L V-6
Overall, I like the appearance of the truck. It's relatively comfortable, and the dash is also pleasant to look at. The engine has adequate power for routine driving and light hauling, but I probably wouldn't tow a whole lot with this truck. Gas mileage is excellent. Some of the negatives would be my engine light is now glowing bright, with just over 48K miles, (even though I change the oil and filters religiously) the tailgate drops like a stone, and it shouldn't. The only other thing is the touch screen doesn't always respond and occasionally the media center doesn't play my mp3's. I bought this truck new from the dealership, I take excellent care of my vehicles by keeping up with the maintenance, and I don't drive them hard. In fact, the truck is pushing 10 years, and like I mentioned earlier, it only has just over 48,000 miles. So, I'm a little annoyed that I'm going to have to take it in for service because of the engine light. The only other thing I can think of is when I have to change the battery, it's kind of a pain. Other than that, I still like the truck, and I still feel that it's been very good to my family and me. My goal is to get 300K miles, or to drive it till I can't drive anymore. Note: I'm 62 Y.O.

143,000 well-built miles… still strong!
Purchased used with 127k on the odometer. Tranny had been replaced, but I don’t know when. 18 months and 18,000 miles later, I can honestly say this is one well built truck. Zero squeaks or rattles in the interior. Gas mileage reliably between 15 city and 18.x highway (mostly hilly to mountainous terrain). Cylinder deactivation seamless…if you’re not looking at the indicator you wouldn’t know it was switching on or off. I’ve replaced ball joints, radiator, condenser and brakes. Exceptionally quiet ride, there is zero wind or road noise at 80 mph. With my Cooper Discovery AT3 tires, I have zero highway noise AND I chomp through snow like Ms. Pacman. The heated seats take forever to warm up. The AC takes a full 90 seconds to get cold. I replaced the crappy headlights with led bulbs and now I can actually see the road at night. Wish I had Carplay as the native NAV is a bit dated… may upgrade or just use my phone. Interior storage is very useful and easy to organize your stuff. The only thing I really dislike is GM’s wiper control.. you have to rotate it on the stalk vs just moving the stalk up or down, which means you MUST take your hand off the wheel. I’m ready for a paint correction visit at my local body shop. Hope to get another 35-50k out of this baby.
Best truck I've ever owned
Most trouble free vehicle and best fuel mileage. Seven years and 126,000 miles with only one issue, a leaking ac valve!

I Love This Truck
I looked at both Chevy and GMC. The GMC interior was far superior in quality than they Chevy. This truck looks good and drives very well.
