187,000 and still going strong!!

The car still looks great! Everyone says how small it is but my husband, son, an I fit with all the stuff we bring to grandmas' houses (2.5 or 5 hours) no problem. I would say the 187,000 miles are half highway and half city. I replace the tires and brakes every few years. The manifold has cracked a few times, the radio went out several years ago, and the heater just blows warm air now, but otherwise no major repairs or replacements. If they still made them, I would buy another in a heartbeat!

Great little car, bought used for $2,400 with 120,000 miles. Only had to replace an alternator, and the shocks in the 65,000 miles we put on it. Took two of us from Oklahoma to Chicago with no problems twice, and many other trips with superb gas mileage. Very cold air and comfort level that ignores its price and entry-car level status. The engine is a bit underpowered, requiring well thought out passing manouvers, (it helps to punch off the A/C before hand too. Heh.) No sqeaks or rattles through 180,000 miles, before I traded her in. Actually fun to drive despite the lack of power. I miss the gas mileage. Great little car.

Extreamly well built. Minor repairs, even after 9 years. Still very peppy for 110,000 miles.

This was a great car, very reliable and took two rear-endings and one driver's side impact accident in five years and kept going strong. I pushed it with the number of miles I put on for my work, but with normal maintenance it performed very well.

I purchased the car brand new. Everything was spectacular on the car as well as the performance. The car wasn't equipped with much gadget back then, as for today's car. No major headache from the car as far as the engine and transmission. This car is a Toyota Corolla Version of American. All it was needed was the routine maintain. At last with about 110,000 miles, I had to let it go. The buyer now probably still has the car.
