Almost perfect
Great van. It's comfortable and easy to drive. Hauls a lot and can climb hills well The only improvements that it really needs are; 4 wheel drive. It won't get out of it's own way in the snow. I really miss my F250 4 wheel drive truck here in New England's winter. An assist handle on the driver's side. They put one on the passenger side. A larger screen for the back-up camera.

Not a service van!
The front interior has areas that if you drop something it's nearly impossible to retrieve. The location of the emergency brake prohibits a center console. You have to get out to clear any snow off the window to see your mirrors due to the split window. Only the back section of the window goes down. Traction in the winter is the worst of any van I have ever driven. I have been driving a van as a service vehicle for over thirty years. Fords, Chevy's, Dodges. I would take any one of them over this Transit. The gas access door snags on everything when trying to exit the vehicle. I finally had to cut off the tab that keeps it from opening with the driver door closed. I broke the plastic hinge trying to get out. Ford backordered it. Probably couldn't keep up with the demand. You need at least four feet beside vehicle if you want to be able to get out. I could go on and on.

2015 Transit 350 had diesel cargo blown engine
We purchased this van new for our business to replace a sprinter 2500. Prime reason was for change wAs ease in finding service when traveling which can be an issue with the sprinter. We have had nothing but issues!! The first 28000 miles were not an issue. All maintenances have been strictly adhered to. Since then Recall after recall (major recalls such as a drivetrain issue that caused us to have to take to dealer every 30000 miles because no fix available) and in December of 2018 a blown engine for no apparent reason!! No check engine light no warning of any kind. That little problem caused us $11000. Ford replaces they do not rebuild. Since paying that bill December 29, 2018 we have had four!!!!!! More trips into the repair facilities each of which has been $2800+!!!!!! And not covered under the new engine warranty though each place has told us the failed part should have been replaced when the engine was replaced. The newest had to do with the egr valve. We have been stuck in Virginia for five days having it repaired at the cost listed above. Today as well as the last visit they found melted hoses etc. these are just a few of the issues incurred. Run do not walk as far away from these vehicles as possible. Do not even think about purchasing!
