Ford Ranger Edge 4x4
I owned a 93 Ranger, then a 2001 Dodge Dakota previously, all of which were 4wd. This new-style ranger is definately tough-looking, fun to drive, and reliable (which was my biggest reason to buy). I have the 3.0 liter motor, which has adequate power for me. Also, these rangers look so much tougher than them s-10's. I dont know why anyone buys one of them.
3rd one in seven years
Good, solid transportation. Not the most stylish, but very dependable. The 4.0L is greatly improved The supercab might allow for an overnight bag or tackle box, anything more and I use the Expedition. Excellent value - never pay more than invoice!

Awesome little truck
My Ranger has been one of, if not the most, reliable vehicles I have ever owned. In the 6 years of ownership, have done nothing but oil changes to date. Handles heavy loads easily. Tows my boat with ease. I have been a Ford fan for many years and between this and my 2002 Lincoln Continental I don't foresee needing to buy anoother new vehicle for many years to come.
This truck is awesome
This truck has it all. Great engine (4L), great looks (flareside bed), great interior (bucket seats), great ride, and great dealer. Metallic Ice Blue paint gets comments everywhere. Fit and finish is superb. 6-CD in dash stereo rocks. This is a REAL truck for people who love trucks. Only negative is gas mileage (17mpg avg) - but hey- its 4WD and was no surprise. Got a great deal too (bought at invoice)!
Third Ranger
Three with no problems.Got 75000 out of the brake pads on #2 Ford has been building this truck for so long that it is bulletproof. Still not bad to look at and very reliable
