DO NOT BUY A 2015-17 FORD MUSTANG

2015 Ford Mustang V6 2dr Coupe (3.7L 6cyl 6M)

If I could give Ford Motor Company a BIG 0, I would. I bought my 2015 Mustang used in 2016 with approximately 13000 miles. Loved the car at first. Impressive for a Ford. I live in Florida and it is warm year round in most parts of the State. However, I barely use the AC, I prefer the windows down unless it is scorching heat and humidity. Five months into ownership at approximately 20000 miles the AC stopped working and I took it to a Ford dealer. It was covered under the 3yr/36000 BTB warranty. The problem was the Evaporator. The repair took several days as it required the techs to remove the entire dashboard to remove and replace the Evaporator. I thought it was poor location design if the part would fail with such low mileage or time. However, I also thought that this was an isolated issue and at 20000 miles it was now fixed. Fast forward 15 months and 20000 additional miles, go figure the AC stopped working again. The 12 month 12000 mile warranty on parts and labor is now expired and the 3yr/36000 is no longer applicable. I took the car to another Ford stealership, and the problem was diagnosed as the Evaporator again. The cost to repair it is $2400, $600 parts, remaining labor. Outrageous, the same part twice within 40000 miles. This would not be such an issue if the part was easily accessible and low cost. I called Ford Corporate, they assigned a case number and communicated with the stealership. End result = end user must pay for Ford's defective part. DO NOT BUY A 2015-17 FORD MUSTANG. Do your research, not an isolated incident. Unless you plan on paying $2400 every 20000 miles or 15 months for a reoccurring problem that Ford knows about. I did not have the repairs done at the stealership. They emailed me for feedback, albeit automated, so here it is: This was my first and last Ford. They have lived up to their reputation. FORD = For Order Repair Daily. Found On the Road Dead. Isn't a pity because the car drives nicely and I thought Ford's reliability and quality was increasing. Never again!

My wife purchased a 2015 Mustang GT manual with the performance package bone stock, and let me tell you, there is nothing "base" about this car. I have a 2014 Mustang GT Premium and her base model 2015 is way nicer inside. The performance package has the beefier suspension, 3.73 gearing, 6 piston Brembos, and the ride is phenomenal. It feels more planted to the ground than my 2014. The bumps in the road are less jarring and the tail doesn't dance like mine. I didn't like the look of the 2015 at first but the minute she pulled up to the house, I fell out of love with my 2014. It truly is a car you have to see in person. You can tell Ford has put a ton of thought into this car.

Great Vehicle, But Terrible Customer Service

The last (and only) Mustang I have owned was a candy apple red 1968 "289" automatic coupe. It was my first car so of course it was awesome...but wait a minute, this 2015 V-8 GT Premium Automatic Coupe is really AWESOME! The power (very quick/fast), ride quality (firm yet smooth), comfort (very comfortable seats and quality feel interior materials) and handling (you have to drive one) are simply amazing. My wife and I had previously rented a 2014 Camaro and after 1-minute we both agreed that the 2015 Mustang is far superior to the Camaro in every way. The new Mustang is the most fun vehicle I have driven in the last 40-years! I find myself making excuses to run "errands"...fun fun fun.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost Premium 2dr Convertible (2.3L 4cyl Turbo 6M)

took delivery of this few days back. It is everything I liked about previous versions PLUS stuff that I had wished for ... like the feeling of luxury without compromizing the sportyness. Its pure exhilaration, as this beauty accelerates like a wild one by the looks yet a seasoned tamed pony by the responsiveness.

I'm thrilled with the EcoStang. Nice power / torque as delivered. Have tuned the Mustang with the Cobb Accessport, and it's now even more fun. The car rides / drives great for this segment. Shopped the Mustang vs. the Camaro and Challenger. The Mustang BY FAR gives you the most car for your $$$. Have heard lots of complaints about the noise the turbo makes. As delivered, its not great and could be improved upon. I know that in-line turbo 4s can be tuned to sound like something special. Highway cruising nets me an honest 33mpg, and 27 combined. Like having the variable drive modes as well as variable steering. Let's you customize the car's behavior to your mood.
