Mid Life Crisis Ride

I've had it for a month and it's lots of fun. Every man turning 50 ought to get one. My kids like it too. It's fast. At least, so I am told; I gave up on leaving rubber about 20 years ago. It's surely a pretty car, and, with the top down, it's mighty fun to drive. I like it in all respects and can't think of a thing I'd change.

Nice Pony

Options on our car include the Pony package, leather seats and upgraded stereo. Having owned a '65 Mustang Fastback for many years I really wasn't expecting to be impressed by the new Mustangs. Boy was I wrong. With each session behind the wheel of the new Pony, the poor handling, braking and lack of air conditioning of my classic Pony becomes even more evident. The new Pony really is more fun to drive. Even though I bought the car for my daughter, I do get to drive it when it needs gas. Which isn't that often since the peppy V6 gets 18-20mpg in town & 26-30 mpg on the road. So many styling cues taken from the early Mustangs I feel right at home in this car.

My experienced with my Jacy has been great. The power from the v8 engine is simply awesome. The car is comfortable for two. My kids are a little cramped in the back. The car is awesome to drive and definitely turns heads.

Gm will have trouble going against this

Got this car in April 2006 and it's everything you could ask for. It has a 300 horse engine; buy a blower and will increase horsepower up to 456 if you wanted to. No lag on throttle and awesome radio; door panels can't take it with all the bass this car gives out. Everything you could ask for is right here. Car companies like GM and Chrysler have been making cars to go against a Mustang GT, but they have all been left in the dust. 0-60 in just 5 seconds is well worth it.

2006 Ford Mustang V6 Deluxe 2dr Convertible (4.0L 6cyl 5M)

I bought it at end of March. Had to contact 17 dealers to get a GT convertible, with a manual transmission. People are always staring and telling me how much they love this car. I never thought a car could make you more popular but this car has. It drives great, The top is very easy to manage, the pickup and speed are great. This is truly a great Mustang. If you can go for the convertible, and V8. My wife and children used to say I was starting to drive like an old man. They can't believe how I've morphed into a speed fanatic. I would buy it again it I had it to do over. So far no mechanical problems or bugs to work out. Thats about it.
