This is my second Fusion I had a 2010, trading it for another vehicle was my worst mistake. It was a great car. So I had to have another Fusion a 2016. Love it, comfortable easy to manuver and an all around great car. The gas mileage is great. You can't go wrong with a Fusion.

Rented a fusion on several business trips, always looked forward to getting back to my Audi... Then, my dad died, and my sister and brother went back to Fords. My dad only drove fords, even when he was a young race car driver... between the truck and mustang, I decided to go for a test drive. Saw the white gold fusion and spent a long time driving it. The rentals did not have the same feel as this lovely new car. I ended up leasing, because I know that in a few years I will want another, with updated options. The only real complaint I have.... I cannot lock the fuel cap and my gas has been stolen too many times. Calling Ford today to see if there is a way to lock it! I kept my Audi, and after a few months, I totally weaned myself off it. Truly back to being a ford fan! I have owned several cars, including 3 mustangs... looking back, there is nothing, at this point of my life, than comfort! Thank God for progress!

When I got hired with Grubhub I traded in my 13 Taurus Limited for this 16 Ford Fusion and I love it. Its good in all kinds of weather and the new tires make the car feel like it's magnetized to the road. The only drawbacks are 18 mpg city (31 highway though) and a small backup camera screen.

Ford Fusion is an overlooked bargain

I owned 3 Toyotas before dipping my toes into a Ford. I was impressed with Ford for not taking cash from the government during the recession. I had also done a strategic analysis of them for my MBA in 2010 and was impressed with their environmental initiatives. My 2006 Ford Fusion SEL with the Duratec 3.0L V6 hit 205k miles in 2017. After 11 yrs and 205k miles the transmission was starting to show some signs of age. Not bad, it had been a steady beast in rough Boston metro traffic, and Western NY weather. Everything else in it still worked great. The body was almost still new despite 11 or so North East winters. I drove it into a Ford dealership looking for a late model used 2015-2016 Fusion. I bought a fully loaded 2016 Titanium with the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder (240 bhp) for under $17k. It was a 1 YR rental with 32k miles on it. It's now half way through 2020, and I am at 58k miles. It's a terrific car. I do a lot of city driving, and it still gets 26 mpg. I have only replaced wipers/oil and filters to date. Everything works great, the car still looks good. I have more features and comfort than another friends BMW. His car was 3x the cost, and has been to the shop for over 4k in repairs already. If you want an affordable, reliable car, that you can buy fully loaded for 20k or less, look for a 1-2 yr old Fusion with 40k miles or less. Keep up on the maintenance and enjoy inexpensive, loaded care free driving. I am devastated that Ford has decided to stop making this great car. The Ford infotainment system is miles ahead of my friend's comparable Toyota Camry, the ride quality is better,

Great features for the price but no longevity

It is comfortable to drive and nap in. But the transmission went out when it was only 3 yrs old. They replaced the entire engine and 8 months later it's going out again! The car also rattles in random places. Ford service is not great either and be prepared for lots of recalls
