An Outstanding Vehicle

I've owned this vehicle for just over a month now. Have already taken it on one long highway trip--got just over 30 MPG! The driver's seat is the most comfortable I've ever sat in. The vehicle is extremely quiet on the road and seems to be put together very well. I look forward to experiencing the AWD when the snow flies.

Bought this car in Atlantis Green which I highly recommend. This car turns heads. Quick and comfortable. With only 300 miles on it I am averaging 17 mpg but that number is going up. Handles very well but don't mistake it for a Corvette. SYNC will take some time to learn but gives you a wealth of features and information.

I traded in a 2003 Mercedes C class on this car and it has been an excellent next vehicle. The Mercedes was a very fine car but I believe this to be even nicer and does in fact offer more features. I am VERY pleased with the design, build quality, features, handling, gas economy, and available room. American cars have come a long way and this is an excellent example. I did quite a bit of research prior to making this purchase and I am 100% satisfied with the vehicle. My job requires me to spend a lot of time on the road and this car has proven to be very comfortable and fun to drive.

After 2,500 miles I still love to get behind the wheel. It handles beautifully and my mileage with the 4 cylinder, six speed manual is far better than what the EPA estimated. I'm getting 36 MPG on the highway and over 30 MPG combined. The 2.5 liter motor has plenty of guts and is surprisingly quiet - I can't even hear it at idle. The seats are very comfortable on long drives and the trunk is quite roomy. This car also feels and sounds like it's very tightly put together, with no squeaks or rattles that I can detect. Overall, it's a top-notch car. Ford has a winner.

- what a car - excellent ride and handling, really nice interior, quiet, solid feel and a smooth, powerful engine. This is a fun ride which has an elegant, high-end feel to it. The SYNC system along with the Sirius Radio are also great features. I got over 200K trouble free miles on my Taurus and hope this Fusion is just as reliable. The Camry and Accord can't touch this car when it comes to value for your dollar.

We traded in a 2008 Acrua TL Type S for the 2010 Fusion Sport. No regrets, it's a better value. Love the Sport. It runs and shifts smoother, is more quiet, is much more comfortable, and drives better. We liked the Acura a lot but this Fusion Sport is a much better car. This Sport has all the features the Type S had like Navi, back-up camera, plus, blind spot info and back- up warning sensors.

The 2008 RAV4 gave its life for us in a rear end accident. Had to go looking for cars. Rented a '09 Fusion and couldn't believe the quality, and bought a 2010 Fusion. Every time I get in I really can't believe its a Ford! I am a car nut and really picky on drive ability, quality, fit and finish. This Fusion has it all. The 4 cylinder (SEL) has all the latest technology and it shows. The starting circuit is cool, just touch the key into the start position and release, the car automatically cranks until it starts (I bet you didn't know that!). Sony XM/Sirus radio, great seats, and good driving position.

I went from a 2009 Camry Hybrid to the Fusion Sport, I couldnt put up anymore with the Toyota's poor quality and lousy ride. The Sport is a fantastic car, ride, comfort, fit and finish, all above par. Power is great, handling is great, 31 MPG on the highway from the big V6, and the car is quiet, something I could not say about the Camry Hybrid. This is the first car to put a grin on my face when I put my foot down, and its a family Sedan! The Bluetooth is superior to the Toyota, I can actually have a conversation now. I love the SYNC. I will never go back to a Toyota. I am a true Ford man, this is my 7th Ford, and I LOVE it! Thanks Ford for making a car I Like again! I still have my F350 Too

I am very pleased with the handling, interior layout and finish. That the car is so quite regarding wind and road noise is really great. (those poor Jetta owners) The 2.5 liter engine seems adequate and keeps me from hot rodding it... what is the point of trying to hot rod on a 2.5 liter? And it is aFORDable.

After lot's of researching, test driving, and comparison shopping, Ford beat out the Toyota Camry (didn't care for interior), Honda Accord (high price)and Chevy Malibu (bulky). The new Fusion design caught my eye and I was so surprised it was a Ford! Safety ratings are fabulous! The seats are so comfortable, and I love the interior. The dash lighting is updated and even the "chimes" are enjoyable. SYNC is GREAT! It really drives so smooth and turns easy The V-6 is powerful, no hesitation at all. HUGE trunk space, and that was important downsizing from an Expedition. Just because I am a mom, doesn't mean I don't want to look sporty. I am excited to drive it, and have no regrets!

What a great car! As a loyal Ford owner for over 20 years of my life this is by far the best vehicle I've owned. Although I've never owned a luxury car before it sure does feel like I do now. The car handles like it is on rails and has features I never dreamed I'd have in a vehicle. I constantly get compliments on the car and observe frequent rubber necking while driving. Regardless of your preference for vehicle manufacturers, this vehicle is a must test drive for anyone serious about purchasing a performance sedan.

I was first introduced to the Ford Fusion when renting a car via Hertz last year. I was given a 2009 V6 SE model. I was blown away by the performance, comfort and overall build quality of the vehicle. I was so impressed that the 2010 Fusion ended up on a short list of possibilities as a replacement car for my wife. We test drove, and purchased on the spot, a 2010 Sport AWD model. This car is an absolute delight to drive; it is fast, smooth, comfortable and build quality (fit & finish) is excellent. This car will no doubt be a hit for Ford. Anyone currently driving or shopping for an import should take a close look at the Fusion.

I went from a 2009 Camry Hybrid to this one. The Sport handles on Rails, Gets up and goes, and comfort is top notch. Bluetooth works much better than Toyota's, I can actually have a conversation. Sync is Awesome, the Sony system rocks. The styling is great, quality of the fit and finish great. I am glad to finally have a Ford I like again, haven't had a Ford Car that I liked since my 1992 Crown Vic. I still own a 1999 F350 Crew Cab Lariat Dully Diesel that I love, but just too much vehicle to be a daily driver. The Sport fits the bill perfectly as a Family sedan and fun car at the same time.

About 50 miles south of 10K and this car has been flawless. Build quality is rock solid with excellent fit and finish. Plenty of power, quiet & comfortable cabin, extremely smooth transmission; excellent cabin space and a huge trunk. Only option I added was the Moon & Tunes package. Killer stereo which could be even better if it had actual subwoofers. Didn't like the blue or red interior accents, stuck with the black. Averaging a shade over 21 mpg in 50/50 mixed driving with the occasional aggressive launch/pass. I have no problem recommending this car to anyone in the market for a midsized sedan with a little pizazz.

I am so glad that I did not read the bad reviews before I purchased my car, it might have swayed me not to buy. However, I could not be more pleased with this car. I test drove an Accord, Camry, and Altima before I bought this car. I was almost going to purchase the Altima, until my husband convinced me to drive the Fusion. The Fusion has way more extras than the Altima and the Camry for the same price. I get great gas mileage (so far averaging 32 mpg). The 2010 model is so sporty looking and I love, love, love the USB port and the fact that I can just hook up my Ipod and play all of my music. The interior is super easy to clean (a plus with kids). So glad that I made this purchase!

I just got the vechicle last week. And this is my first car. I love the exterior, the face is so cool. Compared cars on the market Ford fusion offer the best deal among the most mid-size sedan. I really like spending time sit behind the wheels. I'm a tall guy(6.5),when i sit in the car there still have a lot of room overhead and leg. Personally, I think Ford did a good job on this new 2010 sedan.

I've got a long drive to work and put 40,000 miles a year on my cars. I tried buying used but got burned, so after A LOT thought I decided to buy a Fusion Sport. I think I made the right choice b/c this is enjoyable to drive, very comfortable, and reliable. I got the sport blue w/ black leather & I've received more compliments on it than the BMW 3 Series I used to drive.

Test drove a bunch of cars: Kia Rondo, Hyundai Sonata/Azera/Genesis, VW Golf, Honda Civic. Fusion won out over all of them altho the Rondo's hatchback is my fav style. Have owned 2 Escorts, Contour, and Taurus in last 20 yrs. Went to check out another Taurus, nothing on lot but the Fusion was a real surprise--plenty of room, great fold-down rear seat design, good power. Appreciate Ford's handling & ABS brakes as well. Fusion was a much smoother and more polished car than the $38K Hyundai Genesis! Check into Ford's service pkg: set price for all service maint to 100K/7 yrs. It's a great deal in high-cost labor areas.

We now have just over 2,100 miles on our 2010 Fusion SEL. We took advantage of a cash reduction offered to Camry owners who traded, and paid about $24,000 for a 4-cylinder model with navigation, moon-roof, electric seats, leather seating, rear camera, side sensors, blind spot sensor, and Sirius radio (plus other gadgets). In addition, we received $1,400 MORE in trade-in for our 1998 Camry than the Toyota dealer had offered several months earlier on a $29,000 Prius. The car is well-appointed and the seat/steering wheel adjustments are infinite. There’s no problem in finding a comfortable driving position, or in changing it on longer drives.

I've been driving the Ford Fusion Sport for a week now and I can say that I'm very very with my decision. I was leasing a 2007 Mazda MX5 (Miata) for two years and needed something to replace it that was more practical but had go fun factor. For the price, this car is hard to beat. I test drove the CC as its nearest competitor and for the money, you just get A LOT more car with the Fusion. It's quick and relatively quiet. It also has a nice luxury feel. Ford did a great job and I look forward to holding onto the care for about 6-7 years.

I've driven a few hundred miles already in the fusion. Here is my take: - Gas is great. I drive mostly on the freeway and I'll get between 31 and 40 mpg on the freeway depending on traffic, speed and drifting. - Comfort is poor. It's small inside. Not for big guys (and girls). Not for tall guys (and girls). Your legs will be pushed up against the sides or your head will hit the roof. - Features are fabulous. SYNC is great. Radio, Ipod, USB, GPS, etc.

No wind or engine noise. Very little road/tire noise. Requested a brochure and we got an additional $750. rebate from Ford. We purchased the car at invoice since it was lower than X-plan price. After looking at everything out there in this class, there was no comparison to the quality and extra features that Ford put into this car. I drive 104 miles round trip to work every day and this car is making LA traffic more enjoyable. The road noise is minimal and the handling, braking, bluetooth and Sync all make me feel very safe. I was looking to buy a 2009, but after seeing the new dash design and all the great improvements to the 2010, I had to have it. The power of the 2.5 vs the 2.3 is obviously better. I am very happy with the 28 mpg I am getting in the stop and go city driving. I can't wait to take it on a long road trip to see the mileage. All in all I have no complaints so far.

Had a Ford 18 years ago in high school. Since then not very excited about the line up. My buddy who works for Ford said "just get in to one" I test drove the Fusion Sport and was so impressed I purchased it. The only negative was the Eagle RSA tires. You give the fusion some gas and the tires squack instead of grab. I immediately replaced them with my favorite tire Michelin Pilots. Climate control buttons could be angled better. Fun car pretty good gas mileage (27 HWY, 18 city so far). Definitely a car to consider.

Replacing a Passat 1.8T, we were headed once again for the imports when the missus urged a look at the one domestic that didn't ask for handouts last year. Going up against Accord LX-P and Camry LE, the Fusion SE (I4 2.5 L) was a surprisingly easy choice based on price, features, styling and yes, ride. The first 4000 mi have us feeling great about the decision. Except when cold, the 6-speed auto is responsive and smooth. Mileage is quite good (23/29) when we're mellow. Handling is, well, it's not a Passat (taut) or even an Accord (cultured), but it's firm and secure and beats the Camry (boring) all to heck. This is a quiet, comfortable, well-engineered and (so far) reliable vehicle.

This is one terrific car. It is easy and fun to drive, handles well, does well on gas, is very comfortable, and best of all IT DOES NOT HAVE ONSTAR. That alone is what steered me away from GM. Do yourself a favor and request the brochure from Ford online and you'll get an extra $750 off. With rebates, incentives, etc. I got this pretty well loaded car for about $5,000 below sticker price. Great buy on great car. If GM finally gets around to introducing more new cars than new CEOs AND offer what people really want without useless nonsense like OnStar they might start to get it right.

I wanted to write this review to let others know that i am pleased with this car. I have driven other midsized cars and i have to admit Ford did a good job on this one. I do a lot of highway miles and this car is DRIVERS CAR. Comfort, smooth shifting 6 speed automatic, 8 way power seat, and more! all these features tailor to the driver and even the passenger gets a power seat on the SEL. Fuel is good on a midsized, electric steering is easy to steer in parking lots, but still feels good on highway as well. Highly recommended. The SEL trim is worth the extra $1,200 to upgrade from the SE. GO FORD!!

Solid, well made, well equipped. Excellent fit & finish. Lots of great options for the $$$. Except for a little tire noise it has a really nice smooth quiet ride. Not like a Lexus, but for 8-10K less there's not that much difference. Sony sound system is AWESOME, and the sync system for phones & ipods is great. Drawbacks....the cross-traffic and reverse parking assist features seem a little erratic. Sometimes they work good, sometimes not so good. For 29K there should maybe a lock on the glove box...and a lite inside it. All in all a great car. My first Ford EVER and I'm more than pleased with it.

Purchased this car in the nick of time for my trip tp Stowe, VT. The trunk was adequate for myself and my fiance and her penchant for bringing the kitchen sink. The car is attractive and sporty, yet it has a very European feel and appearance. The engine is responsive and quick. The interior is comforatable and stylish, but some of the weather stripping and trim bezels could be better-attached. Minor issues at worst. The SYNC system is great, but the voice which assists could benefit from some lessons in listening as she is often enough wrong. Also, there is too much instruction offered by the voice. Overall, the car has handled the Vermont mountains well with no issues.

I've had it for almost 3 months now and it's still fun to drive. Instant power and handling response is awesome. Previously been driving a 4 cylinder 2.4 liter PT Cruiser but this time I wanted something with more power, at least a V6 engine. I was thinking of Lexus IS350 this time but that costs considerably more. I buy my vehicles through military car sales so I had a limited choices in what I can buy. Luckily they had one blue Ford Fusion Sport in stock. At first I was skeptical about the color but the color grows on you more and more. I am totally satisfied with my 2010 Ford Fusion Sport purchase. I think this car definitely has value. I no longer wish for the other car.

Like another reviewer on here I had a 2008 Fusion before my 2010. I actually leased the first one. I had a 2008 SE with the sport package/sync, etc. I LOVED IT. It was a fun, sporty car. I was very impressed. The 2010 is not as exciting, albeit I don't have the sport package anymore. The car looks good, but Ford puts strange packages together. i.e. I wanted the monochrome pkg and sync, but it was no where to be found - it was one or the other. I opted for the moon n tune package. The car is good and economical, but the transmission lags terribly, no pickup at all, and hubcaps on a $26k car? C'mon Ford.

I rented one in Kansas City and drove across the state getting 30+ mpg on the highway. Very smooth through the back roads. Typical controls (that's a good thing), nice power drivers seat, big trunk, leg room for grown-ups! Good stereo. I like the no-cap gas filler. Total miles driven - 1500 in 4 days.

So Far, So Good

I've owned my 2010 Ford Fusion Sport for nearly 4 months and I have no regrets about my purchase. I continue to enjoy the power of the 3.5L V-6, crisp handling, and quiet ride. It's a nimble-enough of a car in-town and a smooth performer on open highways. The leather-upholstered seats are fairly comfortable. I have found the EPA fuel mileage estimates to be very accurate for both city and highway driving (21/26 mpg). It's an attractive car; my friends really like it and strangers have come up to ask me (in a nice way) to find out what kind of car it is! The main "disappointment" would be the brakes -- they could be a bit more resolute.

Great Job Ford! My 4th month of ownership and nothing but positive things to say so far. Nice balance between fuel economy and power with the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder (definite improvement over the 2.3 liter available on last years model). The 6 speed automatic transmission is silky smooth. Trunk space is cavernous, and the interior is whisper quiet if not refined. Sync system is phenomenal. Test drove Camry and Accord also---no comparison, Fusion was better hands down in most areas. Great styling, get compliments all the time. Ford has done their homework. Would purchase again in a heartbeat.

We checked several other possibilities, but kept coming back to the Fusion. We have found that it is very comfortable, it handles well and amongst other things the 2.5 engine has more than adequate power both around town and on the road. It is also a fun car to drive. For us it was an excellent choice!

Auto transmission blows!

As mentioned by many others, the automatic transmission on this car is horrible! Why can't these manufacturers leave well enough alone? The 6 speed doesn't provide any better gas mileage and makes the overall driving experience wretched. It hasn't left me stranded yet, but I expect that it will before too long. I like pretty much everything else about the car, although there are some "basics" (outside temp., auto headlights, etc.) that are missing. Will not buy again unless trans problems are fixed.

Wanted something sporty but needed a family car. Wanted awd. This car met all the needs. Get compliments from Young guys at the tire shop (rotate the tires. Since they're low-pro's) up to retirees. Most folks don't know what brand it is and are shocked when I say Ford. Great lines and the sport is packaged well. Super quiet on the road. And gas mileage has been more like 20 (pure city/suburbs) and 27 pure highway. With 25ish mixed. Couldn't get the car stuck in the winter. Tires just let me down on braking/steering. But if you're careful you won't get stuck and won't crash. Overall I'm very glad I bought this over 2010 a4 or used 328xi. 90k for 1st tune up versus 35k for Audi.

After washing and waxing this vehicle, I still have yet to find a defect. No dirt or flaws in the paint, fit and material quality are perfect. A super car inside and out, with feel and features not found in vehicles costing twice as much or more. A neighbor has an older model with over 150k totally trouble free miles, the reason I considered this car. In every area of feel, fit, finish and general satisfaction this car has improved. Sync is awesome!

New Ford Fusion sport. Great car drives like a dream, has handling and comfort. The leather interior is awesome in black and blue two tone. The Sony 12 speaker 300watt stereo rocks with the moon and tune package and yes not to forget the 3.5 V6 is a a blast. I drove Camry, Accord, Mazda6s, Scion tc and last VW Jetta. The Fusion sport was the right looks in and out, best quality fit and finish and plus 263 horses on regular gas what a bonus. Go out and drive the sport bet yell take it home.
