Unexpected Choice
Although I have driven just over a thousand miles, I am very impressed with the Fusion. It's quiet, comfortable, and fun to drive. The V6 with six speed automatic always seems to be in the right gear and the leather seats fit me better than either the Accord EX or Camry. The driving position is great with good forward visibility - unfortunately, vision to the rear is not as good due to the high decklid which adds to the trunk volume and probably improves aerodynamics. Steering is superb with no kickback; it's difficult to tell it's FWD. I started out to buy a Honda Accord EX but ended up with the Fusion - it's that good.
Best new car I have ever owned!
I've only owned it about 3 weeks now. But have yet to find anything that I DON'T like about it! It's an awesome car. Beautiful stylish family car. I actually had someone in a BMW at a red light next to me ask, "is that the new FORD FUSION"? He said, "awesome looking car"! I would recommend it HIGHLY!
77,000 and still perfect
I have had this car for 4 years now and have put 77,000 miles on it. Apart for standard maintenance, I have not had to repair anything on this car. I replaced tires and rear brakes at about 60,000 miles. I drive freeway mostly for work and I get about 420 miles to each tank of fuel. The trunk is huge, especially with the rear seats folded down. I love this fusion and when its time, I will purchase another one.
I thought is was a FORD
Recently purchased my Fusion and I absolutely love it. I needed a commuter car and got a luxury car instead. The SEL V-6 is well put together and seems to love being on the road.
Great value/fun car
This is the best Ford that I have ever owned as far as quality and satisfaction are concerned. We chose it over the 500 and Escape mainly for its tight feel and zip. I wish Ford offered a stick shift in the V6, I would have jumped all over that. The only negative I see is the analog clock in the middle of the dash. Oh well, great car!
