I buy and sell cars and I drive a 2010 hybrid
I got a 2010 Ford fusion hybrid for my girlfriend and once I drove it I fell in love with it. It is like no other car I have driven before. I was so impressed as soon as I found another one I bought it for myself. Now whenever I get a chance to buy a used Ford fusion 2010 hybrid I jump on it. And for all of you hours of hybrid and scared of replacing batteries read the report for put out about their battery technology and their electric engine technology. The odds of you having a problem with your battery pack or electric engine is like getting struck with lightning twice in one lifetime so ford says.

Won't Start
I was super thrilled about the Ford Fusion Hybrid and fell in love with the car at the dealership...so many amenities for the price, and I wanted a green car. But, after just 5 month, one day my car would not start. It's been just shy of 2 months since, and the dealer is STILL trying to figure it out. Ford flew out an engineer this week to fix it. Beyond that, Ford has been completely unresponsive to my calls and letters. I've driven Ford vehicles for years, so this is a major disappointment.

Ultra low cost to own
This is my second '10 Hybrid Fusion and I've owned it for about 6 or 7 years. The only thing that's quit working is the driver's side heated seat and a $15 AC sensor that I've replaced twice myself. I've got 190,000 miles and it's still extremely reliable. There is an O2 sensor throwing a check engine light when it's above 50 F (checked by OBDII scan) but it drives perfectly even so. I change the oil, full synthetic every 4,000 miles. Maybe overkill but I think it's helped maintain the car without any engine issues at all. Highly recommended.

Mileage betters window sticker
I own a 2010 FFH, and it is exactly as advertised and gets better than sticker mileage, your mileage may vary as the owners manual states. I do get better mileage on the highway than I do in town. I live in a small town with limited stop lights and signs so I m sure this is the reason for that. I have had a best open road mileage for a trip of 50.2 mpg figured with fill up to verify the computer figures they were within 5% of each other. The return trip netted 45.7 mpg. I drove the vehicle on its first drive from Dallas Texas where I purchased it to my town in Oklahoma and the first ever mileage from 300+ miles driven was 44.7 mpg this was highway driving at speeds 65-70 mph
2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
My first car bought in six years. Put a lot of research into it. Love this car. Black on black, tinted windows -- I get so many compliments on the exterior as well as the comfortable ride. Gas mileage is excellent. I do mostly in town driving so I average in the 30's; highway close to 40. First hybrid I have owned. I love it!!
