Won't Start

I was super thrilled about the Ford Fusion Hybrid and fell in love with the car at the dealership...so many amenities for the price, and I wanted a green car. But, after just 5 month, one day my car would not start. It's been just shy of 2 months since, and the dealer is STILL trying to figure it out. Ford flew out an engineer this week to fix it. Beyond that, Ford has been completely unresponsive to my calls and letters. I've driven Ford vehicles for years, so this is a major disappointment.

Its November, 2023, and at 249,000 miles, this car remains trouble free. Average gas mileage seems to have increased up to typically 37 mpg or more, perhaps due in part to favorable weather temperatures. Car remains a pleasure to drive and is holding up well.

Mileage betters window sticker

I own a 2010 FFH, and it is exactly as advertised and gets better than sticker mileage, your mileage may vary as the owner’s manual states. I do get better mileage on the highway than I do in town. I live in a small town with limited stop lights and signs so I ‘m sure this is the reason for that. I have had a best open road mileage for a trip of 50.2 mpg figured with fill up to verify the computer figures they were within 5% of each other. The return trip netted 45.7 mpg. I drove the vehicle on its first drive from Dallas Texas where I purchased it to my town in Oklahoma and the first ever mileage from 300+ miles driven was 44.7 mpg this was highway driving at speeds 65-70 mph

My first car bought in six years. Put a lot of research into it. Love this car. Black on black, tinted windows -- I get so many compliments on the exterior as well as the comfortable ride. Gas mileage is excellent. I do mostly in town driving so I average in the 30's; highway close to 40. First hybrid I have owned. I love it!!

Smooth ride

Yes it's got a CVT and electric numb steering, but it feels so smooth accelerating, braking, and saving gas. You have to learn how to drive a hybrid to get the most out of this car. I drive 80 miles a day into NYC and average 42 mpg in the summer and about 38 in the winter. You always get worse mpg in the winter. Great smooth car, although I wish the Bluetooth connection was more consistent.
