Used 2014 Ford Fiesta SE 4dr Sedan (1.6L 4cyl 5M) Consumer Reviews
I was a Ford man until this
I bought this car at 33k miles and literally 600 miles past the 60k power train warranty, the head cracks and causes the car to overheat and dies. Leaving me in a situation where I'll likely have to file bankruptcy because the only reason I financed this car was because I don't have the money or time to deal with constant car repairs. The issues my car has were recalled on Europe but no luck for people in the US. Thanks Ford.

Repairs every 3 months (if lucky)
Bought the car back in June 2018 with 46k miles on it. My first car and the biggest pain on my back I've experienced in my short 21 years of life. Looking back I could've done more due diligence on my part but that's besides the point. First issue I encountered was the MyKey setting, the car came with the audio locked at 14 then to add insult to injury the speakers were AWFUL. How do they pop at not even half of the max volume? Couple weeks pass, and window on passenger side won't work with their button (would have to lower it with the controls on the driver side). Fast forward a couple months, the latch on the rear-left passenger door goes bad (recall) while on the highway. Had to drive and hold the door at the same time for 15 minutes (hell of a shoulder workout might I add). The next month the door latch on the driver side went out. After that I had a break and the car worked fine for about a year with regular maintenance, then disaster struck and the constant repairs started. First it was the terminal connector on the positive side. The terminal corroded off for lord knows what reason, and I could not find it anywhere to buy it, not the dealership, autozone or ebay had it, ended up using a terminal similar to it from an older Ford Focus. I'm just going to skip some stuff and get right to the transmission problems, and the problem is... ALL OF IT. 60k miles and TCM failure according to Ford mechanics, luckily it was still covered under the powertrain warranty and it wasn't even that. Turns out the car had a grounding problem, one side of the engine (battery side) was grounded but the other half (alternator side) wasn't so it was frying my starter. After months of dealing with the Ford dealership and for only $250 a latino workshop ended up saving the little car by just jumping the battery negative terminal to the alternator and for the last 2 weeks that I had it before trading it in, it worked fine but I wasn't going to risk it. Luckily my local Toyota dealer paid off the car in full (even got a check back, which was the same amount as my down payment... COOL) and upgraded me to a 2018 Camry SE. 2 months later so far so good, and I already got my eye on the XSE. TL;DR- DON'T BUY A FORD
