Used 2016 Ford Explorer Consumer Reviews
I'm so disappointed in this vehicle and I want to
Bought or 2016 Ford Explorer Limited off the lot. We've had a Ford Ranger, Escape, and Expedition in the past, then we started driving Toyotas. I really wanted to give Ford another chance. Two months in on a long road trip the check engine light and some towing lights came on. Luckily we found a dealership pretty quickly, but they told us our axle was cracked! That? We didn't even have 3K miles on the car yet. Luckily the warranty paid for it. Shortly after that a recall came out, my automatic drivers seat had a short in it and the massage function goes on and off any time you go over a bump, my mirrors stopped folding in, they're is KNOWN faulty wiring issue that causes my passenger airbag fault light to randomly come on and off. I've already replaced the battery and replaced all 4 tires and was told by a Ford employee that the tires the Explorer comes with absolutely cannot make it as long as the company says they will and recommended I go we l with a completely different tire. As I your this right now, my Explorer, that is 3 years old, has to get yet another new battery and a new alternator because battery has been overcharging my vehicle. I was told yesterday by a Ford service representative," I'm glad you brought this in when you did or your battery (which is a year old) would exploded". So now I'm out $1,795 after this most recent debacle. I'm getting my car this afternoon and I'm going to take it in and buy a Toyota. I'm just so disappointed because I want to love my Explorer so much, but I have to have a reliable vehicle and this one just doesn't cut it.

2016 Ford Explorer Sport
Above the average price of an SUV. I love all the room the driver seat has, and power the sport has. I also love the rear seats that fold on their own. Too much to list.
