This vehicle has great pick up for its size. It handles real nice and gets a lot better MPG than my KIA. I have had No mechanical issues with it. The one thing I do not like about it is the hatch window doesn’t open separately from the hatch like my KIA did and the hatch opening is not 48” so no wide items don’t fit in the back

The smoothest riding vehicle I've ever owned. It drives like a car with the space like an SUV. I also have a couple of extra bonuses like heated seats and a sun roof. It was my dream vehicle and still is! I just wish the audio volume would go a little higher when connected to Bluetooth.

Having the nightmare of dealing with FORD Corp. upon having the recalled motor replaced and the transmission continuing to give us trouble I have permanently left Ford for good after 25 years of being a loyal customer. This was the worst car and experience I have ever owned.

Had car into dealer for repair under warranty. Told me it was oil pan leak. Had car somewhere else before that was told transmission. Argued with dealer about other problem,but wouldn’t listen. Made complaint at warranty center. Told them situation about another diagnosed. Wanted it cover if problems in a few months. Now car in shop 2/1/2 months later and it’s the transmission.But me making a complaint didn’t do anything will have to pay for myself. What a joke. Why get a case number and have it on record and nothing gets done. Dealership and Ford warranty and Ford pushes it on each other . Nobody wants to do [non-permissible content removed]. Don’t believe anything the car dealership tell you or believe your warranty covers anything. 5 yrs and 3 months had escape only 40,000 miles what a piece of crap don’t buy.

buy local....support your community....repairs and/or service is just a stones throw away ! We love our choice. Edmunds is a great tool.for learning about the car you want. Highly recommend.
