2024 Ford Edge Consumer Reviews

Ok-ish vehicle but nothing great
We rented a 2023 Ford Edge in November 2024 while on vacation. For reference my main vehicle is a 2012 Toyota Sequoia - the largest SUV that Toyota makes. We were hopeful on the Ford Edge for our trip hauling two adults and two kids under 4yrs old. It is a compact vehicle with just enough room for everything we were bringing with us. Not too big, not too small. There were many safety features like the lane assist, blind spot monitoring, etc. The rumble feature from these "assist" options was not enough to even notice when it came on (besides being illuminated while testing the features) so I'm not sure how well it would do if the driver was incapacitated in an emergency. The turning radius doing u-turns was beyond terrible. My big boat Sequoia has a better turning radius than this little Ford Edge. Fuel efficiency wasn't that great calculating 18/24mpg between city and highway driving. There was no button inside the vehicle anywhere (nor on our rental remote) to open the hatchback when our hands were full so that was inconvenient on an almost new vehicle. We tried the foot under the bumper sensor which also didn't work. Overall we're glad we had the opportunity to drive this vehicle during our vacation as the size capacity did work for our needs however the lack of mpg and poor turning radius were huge negative scores in our books. Not impressed, would not recommend to anyone looking for a smaller SUV. I had a 2013 Honda CR-V a few years back which got better mpg, had more room inside and better turning radius than this vehicle.

Nice ride and full of features
Our Edge Titanium has been a nice surprise for what we had thought was a "third car". Instead, I'm always happy to drive it. While the interior might be a little dated, the wireless android auto on a large touch screen and full array of safety features provides a comfortable ride.

A very mediocre car
Rented 2023 model for a week. - lower door edge angled 90 degrees and can seriously hurt your leg. - instrument panel indicators hard to see: cruise control, open doors, etc. are very small and located in the left lower corner. Usually they are located in the center between gauges. - very poor visibility to the rear and rear sides. - the hood is huge, tall and raised on the sides which obstructs visibility of the immediate surroundings like boulders. - the gas pedal is hard and acceleration has a noticeable lag. Would not buy.

The Best Vehicle Unknown to Reviewrs
Modern inside and out despite what the experts say. The most comfortable and quiet despite ridiculous reviews. Very comfortabe seats. Very comfotable Smooth and powerful Ford Engine. Built Ford Tough. The only reason Ford is discontinuing it is because Canada, where it's built said rebuild the plant for useless electric vehicles or get out.
