2024 Ford Edge Consumer Reviews

Was my dream car.
I purchased my dream car in October 2023. I have always wanted this car. I finally got it and was super excited. Having a family,& a daughter who is involved in every sport you need room. Upon purchasing the 2024 Ford Edge, I notice after a week there was issues. I didn’t think much of it, just called the dealership and scheduled an appointment to get it looked at and find out what was going on. Well let’s just say I was driving in a rain storm and felt water dripping on the hand and come to find out the roof was leaking by the visor. The screen system sounds like an alien, car play works when it wants to. Other components within the screen system are not working properly. I have to pull over on the side of the road, shut off my car a dozen times and sometimes it take 30-45 mins for everything to start working normal. Only for the screen to turn black, gps to stop working, heating and cooling system to be working opposite. I have had my new car at the dealership over a dozen times since October. Ford is well aware of my issues and now says the part that is needed won’t be in till October-December 2024. So now I have to drive a car that I now HATE because ford can’t seem to figure out what exactly is wrong with a brand new car I purchased. I seriously would not recommend this car to anyone

Screen always freeze forcing you to pull over
First off this car is a typical ford car. Not worth half the value they charge for it. Screen freezes forcing you to pull over and shut it off. When the car freezes for some reason it blast the seat warmers to full power in 95 degree weather. Took me twenty minutes to get off because the highway had no shoulder. Car has 700 miles and has done this six times in the first two werks of me owning it. It’s going back.

Blowing in the wind
Basically, I can't add much to other reviews. I have the Titanium trim. It has a smooth drive, good pickup without the Sport Drive, lots of passenger room and storage behind the back seat. BUT, I have wind noise behind the driver's seat. I've taken it in twice and I'm told there's nothing wrong. In town is not a problem, but road trips become annoying hearing the wind. Also, I agree with another review that the Ford infotainment isn't that easy to navigate. Even my salesperson had trouble when I stopped by the dealership to be shown a couple of things. This is a 2022 and I might trade this in for something else. The wind noise is a big issue for me.

Up-Grade to my 2020 Fusion SEL
Recently purchased a Gold Certified 2023 Edged Titanium with around 27,000 miles. Love it! Rides really smooth (especially with new Michelin Defender 2), Titanium features are nice...No regrets...
