Okay vehicle
The fuel efficiency is horrible. I use premium to get the maximum out of the car and it is usually at 20.4 mpg! We got it as a commuter car for 45 minute drive and it hasn't ever got close to the 27/29 and 80% or more of the drive is highway. We also wanted remote start which is what we were told it had. Turns out it has just the app not a fob start which is what we said we wanted. The app barely works. It regularly does not start and takes usually 2-3 minutes for it to start when it does work. My app has told me it is in deep sleep mode after sitting for less than an hour and won't start until it is started with a key. I got this car for my handicap husband and it is pointless when he has to physically go out and start the car go back into work or come back into the house and then go back out when he leaves. We have been dissatisfied since day one and I have been in contact with the dealership and have got no where. Do not get this car... Do not get a Ford or you will be disappointed. The hatch would be better if it had an inside handle so there wouldn't be hand prints all over the glass or car. I thought I would like the side opening but I don't. If it's raining I have to wait to unload my groceries because there is no protection from the rain while standing at the back. Pros: It has a decent sound system but doesn't get loud enough for road noise. Inside looks nice but anything new should. That's all I can think of.

Yeah!!! Miracle's Never Cease
I am a Senior Citizen... (so that's what they say) I had my mind set on several different cars and SUVs. As I walked thru the showroom floor there it was. My search ended the vehicle was just right for me and my husband having problems getting in and out of vehicles. large enough, great height, maneuverable seats and space for that trip you the dog and (grumpy) gonna take.

So called SUV
So if this helps anyone on vehicle selection then good. I traded my 2016 Ford Focus hatchback which I loved other than getting the transmission rebuilt twice in less than 60,000 miles, but I ended up hopeful with this 2020 ecosport S second day of ownership, I am so disappointed and disgusted with it, I hate this car and because once I tried to make it my own as in trying to find a place to mount the phone, there is no where convenient. They have this big stupid screen protruding from the dash and glad I have the smaller screen, the radio doesn't connect to my phone like the focus did I have to go through a series of button pushing to get the music to go from phone to car. Gas mileage sucks no cargo room, just an idea of how little cargo room my focus had twice as much as the so called SUV which is sad. It's a cheap vehicle and it shows, Ford has lost a very loyal customer after this because now all fords have "auto stop/start" which is where your engine shuts off when you stop like at a stop sign, engine shuts off and kills the power to everything till you let your foot off the brake and if you're in the wrong lane and stopped needing to make a lane change, well you can't turn the steering wheel while you're stopped, this alone is why I won't buy another new Ford, it's a stupid idea to save a few seconds of gas but yet it's using the battery and starter more, think about it, you start your car drive till you get to the destination but now if there's 10 stop signs from A to B that's a total of 11 times you're starting your vehicle. So Ford you really need to fire your over paid idea morons and focus on making a more reliable vehicle that will last like they used to rather that stupid pointless gadgets that make no sense.

Nice looking, but weak engine
We got the SES with 4 cylinder AWD. It is very nice looking vehicle. My spouse liked the look of this compact SUV. But even with 166 horse power engine,it behaves very weak and the ride is rough. Seats are not very comfortable for long rides. Disappointing over all. We hope it last longer without any major repairs
