BIG mistake

2007 Dodge Sprinter 2500 170 WB 3dr Ext Van (3.0L 6cyl Turbodiesel 5A)

Great concept, terribly unreliable. Passenger seats too small and uncomfortable. Engine stalls whenever, transmission shifts into top gear at 25Mph. Have to pull over and restart. Dealer will not fix or even try. Head light bulbs go out every 30 days. Sliding door never fits right.Backup horn replaced, ignition failed at 14000 miles, dealer replaced but damaged engine cradle with forklift, never replaced??!!

Best Features

SIZE is phenomenal, fuel economy is good at 24MPG combined. Smooth on the road, like a car. Absolutely nothing beyond that.

Worst Features

Assembly should be done in Germany, Dodge should never be allowed to touch my van! This makes price unreasonable, warranty useless. Five stars means absolutely nothing!! Got rid of the damaged van at 17000 miles. Here mechanics know nothing about diesel sprinters. Choose mechanics first or else!!!!
