Used 2000 Dodge Durango Consumer Reviews
Not so good
I put a lot of milage on my Durango each year but that's no excuse for it to just rattle apart. In the last 6 months it has spent more time in the shop then on the road.
Sound vehicle
I had purchased this vehicle in 2002 and have never had a mechanical issue. I do my own maintenance and this vehicle is tough. The only thing we have done is tires brakes battery and shocks. These are expected things for a 120,000 mile vehicle. I am planning on this vehicle lasting our family of six (the third seat is great) at least until it has 200,000 plus on it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants a tough reliable vehicle capable of handling any of your needs.
Completely Satisfied
I Have owned since 2000 and have great success. The only issue has been the transmission. I had to rebuild at 125000 miles! Other than that tires, brakes and oil! Great hauling and towing. We bought it with the goal to drive for ten years and so far I am very pleased with its performance. I definitely recommend the truck!
Dodge......delivers !
We've had it for 30K miles and love the extra room and comfort of the big "D". Traded a Jeep Grand Cherokee in on it, so this Dodge had a heck of a reputation to live up to. Really like the aggresive looks of the Durango. And LOVE the sound of that 4.7 V-8 when I mash the pedal. Doesn't seem to be too bad on gas, given the weight of this thing and the engine. About 18 mpg on the hiway. Not as good as the Jeep, but we knew that up front.
what a truck
the 91' Dodge Durango is a very good vehical i own one and i have oned several suv's before this one and this on is the most powerful and the most comfortable one i have owned. i would recomend this to any one with a family of four or larger unless u travel alot because the cargo space is massive after u fold down all of the seats this is a very nice vehical and it is fun to drive. it is also a good off roader if your into that sort of thing
