Picked up my black 2020 charger a few weeks ago and it is fantastic. Great horsepower and handling. Interior is actually much better than what I remember from my previous Dodge vehicles (2012 Charger, 2014 Challenger). Gas Mileage is ok 16-18 mpg, but mostly around town. Have had the whole family in the car for road trips. Got it without the sunroof for additional headroom. Update, has 8,800 miles now and still loving it

Love This Beast of a Car

Abigail, 06/27/2020
2020 Dodge Charger SXT 4dr Sedan (3.6L 6cyl 8A)

This car is awesome! While being the SXT model AWD it is considered 'lesser' with the 3.6L V6 but it is nothing to scoff at when compared to other sedans with 300hp. This thing is heavy (comparable in weight to a SUV Volvo) and the AWD system is good. I drove with confidence in March snow/slush/ice in New Hampshire. Keep in mind how good a car is in the snow depends on various factors such as: the AWD system, the car weight, snow tires, and of course the skill of the driver in ice and snow conditions. The interior is very comfortable and the car doesn't feel 'dated' to me despite what some professional reviews say. Then again, I got this Charger after owning a Subaru Legacy...so that would explain a lot! The touch screen responds great, the vented seats are lovely in the summer, and the weight of the car feels confident on twisting roads and powering up hills or zooming onto the highway. I feel safe in the car and it shows in the 5 star safety ratings these get. Of course the biggest complaint with a Dodge muscle car is the gas mileage. I get a solid 21 to 22 mpg combined which is great for going around NH hills and highways. Of course we all want our cars to have 100 mpg but I'd much rather drive the Charger than a Prius!!! I love this car. I will never go back to Subaru after buying this beast of a car. When the garage expands there will be a Scat Pack joining the family!

The interior of this car is so quiet, between 59 and 63 Db, I have the GT plus, and can tell that even when is a sport car it looks more like a luxury car with all the leather it has, the dash is stitched with leather too, like a sport car suspension is firm but a the same time is smooth, and when you take the curves is very exciting, compare with other cars I think is the best price, you can feel the 300 hp, before drive this charger, I tried camry and accord and with all due respect, can't be compare them with charger, the only difference is the gas mileage but is minimal, for those persons looking for a nice quiet luxury car try the new 2021 dodge charger GT before buy any other, good luck. After 10,000 miles still the same, nice and quiet car, I heard some people saying that this car is so stiff, and the only thing I can respond to that is; 1- Is a sport car, suspension has to be a little bit stiff, but no like others cars, I think this one is the best on its class. 2- Most of the people buying chargers never check pressure tires, including the guys from the dealers, when I received my charger, the pressure on my tires were 44 psi, any other car with this pressure is going to have an horrible ride, even trucks, so please when you drive any new car for your first time, check the label on the side of your driver door and adjust your pressure as needed, my recommendation is to adjust them first thing in the morning. In my case my charger says 32 psi and I've been checking on a few friends and looks like nobody cares, but most of the people keep the tires with a lot of pressure, any ways dodge charger GT runs amazing, is so quiet and looks like a luxury cars( the GT/PLUS)and I am very happy with it, thanks.

Fantastic Sporty Vehicle for the Whole Family

After driving a 2018 Dodge Charger GT Plus for the last 3 years I can tell you with confidence that this is the best large sedan on the market. Especially if you are looking for 300 HP V6 performance in an AWD vehicle. The Charger offers that in the GT AWD. The Toyota Avalon only offers AWD in their V4 200 HP vehicles. The extra HP of the Charger makes it a blast to drive and it drives extremely well in our snowy winters here in the northeast. In general driving the visibility is great, back seat is very roomy and the trunk is huge. Yet it is very easy to drive and park. I'm in the process of purchasing the 2021 version now. I'm getting the GT AWD with the Plus, Technology, and Driver Convenience Group packages. Those and the sunroof make the best large sedan available at this price. Love this car!

the only downside is the gas consumption. But the ride and handle is better than most, the power feels amazing. That Hemi growl is what separates this beast from the competition, the stock active exhaust is addictive.. 1 Year Later: I can honestly say this the best bang for your buck when it comes to horsepower, looks, space, reliability and resale value.. It's currently a seller's market, and dealers are offering me more than I paid for my car. One of the last of a dying breed of V8 engines, so I'm gonna hold on to her a little while longer and see what the future holds.

Buy this fine high tuned luxury automobile , you will not regret it , ever. I purchased the 2020 charger HellCat Daytona 308 . It does things that most cars can not do. It handles like royalty and gets down thrashing . It is by far more than a race car you can buy on showroom . It’s has a quiet Luxury ride or thrashing rocketing on corners and straight always. Ages from 10 to 100 love this timeless automobile And rush to see and talk about it with me. I have had many performance and luxury cars. This is by Far the finest I have ever owned (I am 61) . I’m going to keep it till I die and run the miles all over the USA. It’s the greatest Automobile and it’s to bad only a few will have the chance of seeing one.

Dodge, You Built a Winner!

I wanted a car that was safe. I want to not get run over when pulling onto a street, get across wide intersections in the city (where many people seem to think that a red light means "Get out of my way!"), and merge safely on the highway. I also want to not inconvenience other drivers unnecessarily by taking forever to accelerate at a traffic signal or stop sign. Remote start is pretty cool, and I am looking forward to using it in the winter. Had I been able to choose my own features instead of buying what was on the lot, I would have gotten the heated seats and mirrors, and the larger screen with navigation, as well as safety features such as blind spot monitoring. As it is, I do have a manual tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and the base 7-inch screen. I am still learning my way around the UConnect, but SiriusXM is great. I appreciate that the stations are themed, so I can listen to the genre I wish, without having a lot of things thrown in that I really don't want to hear. The steering is much more satisfying than many other cars I have driven. I feel connected to the road in the Charger. The digital speedometer lets me know exactly what speed I am driving so I can drive safely. The keyless entry and push button start, along with the push button trunk entry, are like something out of The Jetsons, and I so appreciate not needing to fumble for my key any longer. I wear the key fob on a lanyard around my neck. The radio volume buttons are on the steering wheel, which makes using the radio much safer. There is also a command button on the steering wheel, so I can verbally change stations without taking my hands off the wheel or my eyes off the road. I can also connect to my phone via Bluetooth, however, I don't do this much because I want to avoid the significant radiation that unfortunately accompanies Bluetooth. But it is nice to know that I can use it if I need to. I have not yet explored the rest of buttons on the steering wheel, but I do know Cruise Control is on it. I've only had my car for about three weeks, so there are many things I do not yet know. It is such fun learning more each day! I had a Dodge Omni Charger way back when, and it was an amazing car. It was the only car that I ever truly enjoyed driving, until now. I am so thrilled to have a newer Charger! My car is black, which would not have been my first color choice. I'm pretty sure it will be an oven in the summer. But I am enjoying learning how to care for the black paint. I have a sunroof, which is not something I would ever have thought I wanted. I had no idea - it is fabulous! I can enjoy light and/or air without having to have the entire top down as I would in a convertible. Plus I can open/close/adjust the sunroof while moving, which one cannot do with a convertible top. I have been driving a Chevrolet HHR for almost three years, and it was pretty cramped inside. It did, however, have a lot of head room (HHR stands for Heritage High Roof). I have noticed that if I want to finish a water bottle in the Charger, the bottle bumps the roof when I tilt it up. I also lightly bump my head occasionally, so I don't know how a really tall person would fare. But the interior of the Charger is comfortable and spacious, and the trunk is cavernous. The front seat has power controls, and the lumbar support even moves higher or lower. My rating is four stars because as the base model, the SXT, the car does not have all the safety features that Dodge offers. Also, it can be difficult to close the trunk because there is really nothing to grab to pull it down, and the paint is pretty slick. And the front door, when open all the way, is pretty much impossible to close from inside the car without either getting partially out of the car or growing longer arms. This could be rather inconvenient if you are trying to get in the car while it is raining. It does, however, give you lots of room to get inside the car without bumping the door. So it is a tradeoff, and the extra entry/exit room trumps the long reach to close the door. I can't tell you a lot of technical details, but I can tell you that this is a wonderful car. It would be well suited for a family as well as a couple or an individual. It moves when I ask it to, handles beautifully, and I feel so much safer knowing I can get out of the way if I need to. It is also a beautiful design, and a pleasure to look at. It has the power of a muscle car, the fun and control of a sports car, and the comfort of a sedan.

The car is very tight, has a nice clean interior and has good power. It is sensitive to even light road surface irregularities but otherwise the ride is very smoothe. The car also has a very sporty look. Overall, the car was a good buy for the money for all it offers.

Burns lots of fuel. And burns lots of fuel. In case I didn’t mention it, it burns lots of fuel. 14 mpg around town. Might get 16 if you stay out of it, but let’s face it you buy it to romp on it. Car is too new to talk about build quality. Electronics are plentiful and the car is fully tunable as far as performance goes.

Car is great handling performance is excellent, inspires more speed in corners than previous scatpack, thank to the adaptive suspension and 305 wider tires and spaced offset. 6.4 392 cu/in with mds 4 cyl mode allows me to maintain 15-16 mpg on highway city combined, interior panels have been changed since recent years suffered from peeling panels, and feel that it is the one of the past with this new material, android auto/apple car play is needed with your phone to use navigation if you plan to us gps vs purchasing navigation in your model, having few models made for the scatpack widebody (daily track car) the car is currently in high demand even given these current times with covid 19 and potential markets crashing. Overall the heritage maintains and dodge continues to sell high performance vehicles at an incredible price point from other competitors looking for performance sedans while they still can be purchased. Soon the full wave of economy efficient vehicles with hybrid systems or plug ins will eventually take over, get them and enjoy them while you can!

My 2021 Dodge Charger GT AWD us an Onyx gem! It handles very well. It's a good looking vehicle. It doesn't have great gas efficiency but it also doesn't need premium gas which is a plus. The one downside is the backup camera when it rains because rain drops clutter the lens.

I was pleasantly surprised with the power that 6 cylinder could generate and more surprised with the gas mileage. Dodge advertises 30 mpg on the highway but I found on several trips that I was getting just over 31 and that's going through the N.C. Blue Ridge Mountains which the car handles ascending with ease. I'd of given the car a 5 star rating but the cons are interior comfort. The seats are too rigid with not enough cushion and the lumbar support, which I do not use, feels like it will not fully retract. I'm looking to have my seats reupholstered because they are a killer on a long drive even with using seat cushions. There is also not the legroom I expected for the rear seat passengers, from those in their mid teens on up.

This car is easy to drive, but be careful it will get away from you if your not MINDFULL of the horsepower (717) you have under your control. Very confrontable and quite, much more that you would imagine! Braking and handling is superb for a car of this size and weight! Mine #183 of 501 I love it. A pleasure to own and drive.

Low entrance headroom. Get ready to bang your head. Hard uncomfortable seats during long trips. Left/RIGHT visibility doesn't exist. Try parking it in a lined parking place. Trans hunts for gears while going up hills. Due to rear wheel drive, drives haft hump seriously restricts rear seat passengers legroom. Very little to say positive with exception that the car handles wonderfully on curves. Body integrity is very much lacking. Closing the trunk lid sounds tinny as well as the doors. Overall, the vehicle leaves a lot to be desired. Bought one new, took a 1200 mile trip and sold it with 4467 miles on odometer. Buy one and I wish you the best. Great body style though.

Completely undrivable after less than six months. Dodge tried to say a "mouse chewed it" to get out of the warranty.

Good car, no auto AC

Great driving experience, RWD enables great handling, getting mpg as advertised... 30mpg highway. Only 2 minor gripes. There is no auto button for temp control on the SX model. Irritating oversight. Also, the 6 cyl seems a bit underpowered for the weight... End up feeling like it needs to downshift a lot to find the right gear.

Alot of bells and whistles. Vehicle Works as advertised. Chilson and Wilcox was the best leasing experience to date. I gave the sale person, John, a description of the vehicle I wanted. With one or two weeks he located and secured the car.

The Dodge Charger Hellcat Widebody is a really nice car. Everything someone would want in a muscle car but just a little too big for me. I own a 2019 C43 AMG coupe, it is smaller and handles winding roads much better. Off the line, The Charger is beastly. Great car I just a little too big for my taste.

I have a '15 Charger SXT Plus Rallye and absolutely love it. Great for cruising, family road trips, racing and modifying. It has and does all you want to do with your car while comfortable and holds the road well. LOVE DRIVING MINE EVERYDAY. Her name is LadyBug Gas mileage not great but I was willing to sacrifice a bit.

The Scat Pack has way more power than you need for street driving but it sure is FUN! It's a bit too noisy and stiff on long drives so I only gave it 4 stars, but it's more like 4.5 stars.
