Fast & Flawed

Very attractive and fast car. Stepping on the throttle will absolutely push you back in your seat! The ride is smooth on the highway and the handling is much better than expected considering size and weight. Purchased brand new and the fit and finish were lacking. Gaps around the car were uneven and the transmission (8 speed automatic) was questionable. The shifts were really hard and the car had less than 2000 miles. Myself and my passengers noticed the hard shifts particularly from 1st to 2nd. Also noticed the Challenger needed an alignment after 2000 miles driving on normal roads??? Those two issues combined with my 2nd home moving to the nearest gas station lead me to sell the Challenger after 3 months of ownership. Fun car but not worth owing with problems and the horrible gas mileage. I should have not had those issues after only driving 2000 miles. It’s a shame because I really like Dodge vehicles. I may consider another one in the future.

Amazing car. Drives fantastic what's not to love. But I can't believe how easy it is to steal... I don't understand that with today's technology they are so easy to steal! I bought 2021 challenger scat pack. I had it for 3 months. It was stolen in minutes by smashing window. Im disapointed

Comfortable. Handles bumps in the road very well. Easy in and out unlike many sports cars. Stock exhaust is perfect with my manual transmission.

ICE Scat Pack

With nearly 50,000 miles on the OD, I think I qualify to give an honest long term review of the Dodge Challenger Scat Pack, so here it is: The Dodge Challenger Scat Pack is a capable daily driver, sport tourer, and street and strip car. As I live in Ohio, and this car is a true daily driver, it has taken me everywhere I have gone; rain, shine, sleet, and snow, day in, day out, for the past four years. My daughter and I did a 2,000 mile road trip, that included the 2022 Hot Rod Power Tour, where we saw average daily temperatures in the high 90s, and it performed without fail. Hours long traffic jams, waiting to get in the gates, and a very rare occasion, where the Alabama State Police waved a bunch of the faster cars in our group, to open up; my Scat was able to hit a recorded 183 mph on the highway (Helmets and other safety gear was worn.) Thanks to Blizzaks, I have not missed a days work due to weather, while using the Scat Pack in daily duty, driving to and from work. It is a head turner at cruise ins, Cars and Coffee, and during local track time. This has been one of the most versatile cars I have owned in nearly fifty years of car ownership. Thank you Dodge, this is the car Americans NEED to own at least once in their lifetime.
