2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 2dr Coupe (6.4L 8cyl 6M)

If you are buying this car for the gas mileage...don't! Although if you don't go crazy around town you can get 15 of the most fun miles per gallon you have ever experienced. If you travel on open roads, look for around 22 - 24 MPG. This car is not about gas mileage, it is about fun, and it delivers that! I am old enough to remember the original Challenger the current 2015 is based on (1971) and Dodge nailed it on this one. A classic look brought into the 21st century. I have the 6 speed Tremec manual transmission that is hooked up to the new 392 CID Hemi engine from Dodge with 485 HP and 475 ft/lb of torque. What a blast to run it thru the gears and hear the Active Exhaust screaming - this car is not subtle! Take all of the good things you remember from the 'old days' and add safety to it, and you have the Scat Pack. (Active Exhaust re-routes the exhaust gases around the baffles, basically giving you 'straight flow pipes' from the catalytic converters to the rear of the car, i.e., no mufflers, no resonators. It is electronically controlled so driving around town or highway under light load the car is (relatively) quiet. Step on the gas pedal hard, everything gets re-routed in an instant and OMG! what a nice sound!) The car rides very comfortably and is surprisingly nimble for 2+ tons of fun - lots of back roads here in Western Pennsylvania and this car does well on them. It isn't a Porsche by any means, but it also isn't an aircraft carrier either, LOL! Straight line acceleration is scary - you are hitting red line and road speed limits *REAL* fast. Nice thing is that it also stops REAL quick with the 4 piston Brembo brakes at all 4 wheels. The interior is well done, with nice finishes and materials - nicer than the current Camaros and Mustangs by a longshot. When at cruising interstate speeds, the car is quiet enough that you can have a normal conversation with your significant other. The back seats are actually usable if you're not 6' or taller, and have nice leg room for a two door coupe. The U-Connect entertainment/NAV unit is probably the best and most user-friendly system on the market. I have an iPod, a USB stick and an SD memory card, all with music on them active at the same time. I can also connect my phone via Bluetooth for the normal stuff - and it can read my text messages to me as I am driving. I do wish that they had used either a faster processor or more memory in the unit, it takes a few seconds to get a screen every time you browse your music - even if you just did it. It appears that they don't index once and remember until something changes, but re-index on every browse. When you have 60 Gb of music, that takes about 10-15 seconds! Let's get back to performance for a minute - did I mention it is fast?! I haven't had mine on the track yet, but others I know with the same car are running in the range of 12.5sec/110mph for the 1/4 mile - on stock tires and wheels. If I had to find complaint with this car, it's that the tires just aren't wide enough to hook up quickly - only 245/35 tires and 9"x20" rims come on this beast. I guess Dodge figured the aftermarket would take care of that. To put this in perspective, this is faster than those original 426 CID Hemis that everyone remembers from the 'old days' by a wide margin. Isn't Science and Engineering wonderful!!! You can bring up 'Performance Pages' onscreen that let you choose how you want your Sport Mode button set up, such as quicker engine response and opening the Active Exhaust, turning off traction control, changing the effort on the electrically powered steering. It also has a Launch Page - set your RPM, it takes the engine to that speed and helps keep the wheels from spinning when you release the clutch. Did I mention it is fast? Would I make the deal again, trading in a beautiful, smooth, high end leather and wood interior, all wheel drive Hemi for this, knowing what I know about the Scat Pack now and knowing that winter driving will be limited in the Scat Pack because of so much torque at any range??? Hell YEAH!!! In a rapid heartbeat!!! This car has the best price/performance ratio of any car out there. Update: 2016-07-21, 6300 miles on it 1) MPG - isn't something I care about! 2) Useless in snow/ice, good in everything else 3) got louder and quicker 4) interior still tight and quiet 5) tired of vague shifting, replaced linkage with Barton Industries linkage. MUCH better! 6) still draws a crowd, still gets 'thumbs up' on the road! 7) still smile when starting and driving it 8) WOULD DO THE PURCHASE AGAIN! Not sure having this much fun is still legal!!! **Update January, 2019 (15610 miles on the odometer) : Now cammed, tuned and putting out 510 HP at the wheels! OST Dyno rules! **Update 08/01/19 - All above still applies! ***Update 01/29/21 - Still own it, still having fun! Still sounds solid inside, roars from the outside. No major problems mechanically, paint still pearl white. FUN!

UPDATE on 4.12.2016: I've had this car as my daily driver since 7.23.2015, so about 9 months by now. Bought it brand new back then and thought it was the best thing ever. As it's a V6 I've been driving to dealerships lately to weigh my options on upgrading to a V8. Since I'm mostly driven by the exhaust systems I've got my eyes on the newer 5.0 Mustang GT's. A Ford dealer did a quick appraisal of my garage-kept, trophy-winning Challenger and I must say I was quite disappointed with the rapid depreciation of the car. One thing's for sure, I won't be buying anymore sports cars in generic colors like black anymore. I'll be looking into something that holds its value longer such as a Roush/Boss, etc. This has been a great car, but when I'm upgrading to a V8 I don't want a Challenger R/T when you figure the engine displacement to power ratio compared to other brands. But as far as V6's go the Challenger is, hands down, the coolest of the bunch, so I can't say I regret my purchase. The power has been great, especially with the K&N cold air intake I installed within a month after buying it. That improved the motor sound considerably and has tamed the fuel consumption a good bit as well. Overall fuel consumption is good for a 4,000 lb. car, but I can already tell it's deteriorated slightly in the short amount of time I've owned her. I would say it may already be time for a fuel system flush, but seems too early to be necessary. I don't know if that's a Dodge thing or what, but our Fusion with 63,000 miles on it seems to be holding its average MPG quite well in comparison. I updated my rating on the comfort category simply due to me recently having issues with the wheel base(s) squeaking whenever I go over minor bumps like in a poorly constructed parking lot. When I took it into the dealership to have them investigate it they told me the most ridiculous statement I'd ever heard - "It's metal and plastic and it'll squeak when they rub together". Thank you, Sherlock, but of all the cars (which every car out there has metal rubbing against plastic at the wheels) I've driven none of them squeak over such small bumps, and I don't want to hear it happening on a car I've had for only 9 months. Then there was the issue with the transmission. I've adored and still do adore the ZF8HP 8-speed automatic from Germany. However, I never drive it in sport mode unless I'm using the paddle shifters as a manual due to this ongoing problem I've been having. In sport mode (without the paddle shifters) if you accelerate as though you would any day you're ready to get home from a 9 hour shift the transmission will start hunting for gears when it realizes you aren't necessarily driving Dukes of Hazzard style through the city. However, when it's hunting it will literally jolt the car back and forth so violently you'll feel as though you're being repeatedly rear-ended. I explained this to the, once again, oh-so-helpful Dodge dealer and they, once again, told me it was "normal". They must think I was born yesterday for me to believe that all cars do this in sport mode. All of the Mercedes I've driven, my brother's Mustang, and the plethora of rental/loaner cars I've driven in sport mode have never jolted like that in sport mode. I've just let them be as I'll, as stated, be trading it in toward another car in the next year and will simply use the paddle shifters anytime I decide to drive in sport mode.

Dodge really hit the perfect blend of retro styling and modern performance. Aesthetics are always subjective; you either like the looks or you don't. Empirically, the interior is very nicely driver-centric and easy to access all functions and features. The 8.4 Uconnect system is great and easy to use. Ride and comfort are sporty, even in "Street" mode, but still very comfortable. Performance is, of course, breath-taking. Absolutely beastly power at your command, but still can get 23 MPG on the freeway (manual). Summary: A true muscle car with all the modern conveniences of a luxury coupe. Not for everyone, but for those who want one, you will not be disappointed.

I traded a 7000 mile 2010 SRT8 for the R/T Scat Pack and couldn't be happier with the decision. The car is comfortable, powerful, good looking, and sounds amazing. After owning this car for just over three years, I'm still thrilled with it. Zero issues with the car.

Supplemental review. Almost 30K miles on the car....no mechanical issues whatsoever. Still happy with my choice. I've never owned a car that made me happy to own/drive...puts a big smile on my face. No regrets about the 6 cylinder engine....doesn't have the "hemi" sound but still goes 0 to 60 in under six seconds with a satisfying engine roar. I've now owned the car 44 months...still very happy with my purchase. This car is a terrific GT car.....great for long highway cruises, so quiet and comfortable. No quality issues whatsoever...the UConnect system is terrific. Updated April 2017, owned car 25 months....still a blast to drive and look forward to motoring. Did some modifications, performance exhaust and lowering springs....great exhaust sound and better road holding now. Consistent 0-60 mph times of 5.5 seconds....no quality issues so far, everything works fine....best car I have ever owned.

Took deliveryJune 10th. This car exceeds all my expectations. The manual is very short throw and has excellent feel. Don't even consider getting the automatic in a car like this. The clutch pedal is light with absolutely no chatter. The leather upgrade ($1,750) is well worth the money. The German brands have nothing on this car--except maybe panel fit. My only very small complaint is the radio sound quality; not bad but could be better. Feels extremely solid. No wind noise. No rattles. Handles great even in street mode. (Now that the speakers are broken in, they sound great.) The longer I have this car, the more I like it. No need for 707 HP of the Hellcat; with 485, traction is the only limitation. It has take some getting used to not being able to just floor the gas pedal--you have to be careful with so much power. Now have 50,000 miles on the car. No problems thus far. The only possible complaint might be tire wear (getting ready to put on my third set). Now have 21,000 miles. Will need new tires soon. Still love the car. Never had a clutch that works so well. Seats are comfortable. Great road car.

Just traded in a '13 charger RT for the tri coat red 8 speed challenger srt 392 with black racing stripes. In 2 days the transmission has already begun to adapt to my driving style. I am using it as a daily commuter and it is a joy to drive. I loved my charger but the 6.4L and the 8 speed is just flat out awesome. The sound is nostalgic as is the acceleration. Everything about this car is catering to the driver. MPG is not why you get such a car but in 2 days of mixed city/highway I am averaging nearly 19. That is nearly what i got with the charger in the 5.7L and does include having ample fun too. This car is not for everyone but beats the snot out of overpriced euro imports.

Sinister SRT 392 packs a vicious punch

Well where do I start. Hmm oh yeah the 6.4 Liter Hemi is a beast. Have put down consistent mid 4 second zero to 60 times with no effort whatsoever with a best so far of 4.2 seconds. Took it to Route 66 dragway and have turned mid 12's all day long at an average of 111 mph. Nothing has even come close to beating me on the street and most don't even try. I opted for the Redline Red Tricoat paint job and it literally can look like three different colors depending on the lighting from fire engine red in the sunlight to Candy apple in the shade, absolutely wicked! I nearly settled for a Scat pack but I'm really glad I went with the SRT. For about 5 grand more you get 6 piston red Brembo calipers up front and red for piston Brembo's out back that clamp this hefty muscle car down from any speed with ease. I'm averaging 17.5 miles per gallon at excessive highway speed along with aggressive of highway driving. This thing comes standard with a rocking 18 speaker Harmon Kardon 900 Watt sound system that has some serious bass provided via 2 perfectly placed subwoofers where the spare tire should typically reside. But I barely ever turn it up because of the absolutely sick sounding soundtrack provided by the 2 tailpipes pumping out the best sounding V8 music I've ever heard and it's utterly addicting. Put the fun pedal to the floor and those babies open up like I put a $2000 exhaust system on it. I've never experienced a vehicle from the factory with the raw power, sound, ride quality the list goes on and on. Especially for $50K it's an unbeatable vehicle in every way. The SRT drive mode selectors are truly amazing that gives this monster the ability to drive like 3 different vehicles and you can mix up the ride pretty much any way you like. I usually go with full traction control along with track transmission which doesn't allow the 4 cylinder shutdown to occur and offers lighting quick shifts. Then stiffen up the suspension and steering a bit and have a blast anywhere I need to go. There's a never ending list of cool technology and excellent safety features this vehicle offers I could go on all day. I've owned Camaro I've owned Mustang and they don't even come close to competing with the 392. 100 percent satisfied with my purchase and plan on keeping this beast for a long time.

Respect the power. 29 mpg when driving from Virginia to PA when I was bringing it home from the dealership.I couldn't believe it.This car will always put a smile on any drivers face, ask anyone who owns one.Very comfortable ,plenty of room front and rear of the interior and lots of room in the trunk. This car is very quick, and powerful. A person who never had experience driving muscle cars could very easily let this get away from them. Again you must respect the power! Great, fun car to drive. My HELLCAT is the 8 speed auto, which shifts fantastic. Any person who is thinking of buying one don't think any longer. Go get one. You won,t regret it. You only live once!!! ---------My new review after owning this vehicle for 1 year is still a great review. This vehicle is awesome. It's unbelievable the performance of a car this large and comfortable, even on long trips with plenty of trunk space. I've gotten up to 30 mpg in eco mode going from Sunbury PA to Lancaster PA.This vehicle still puts a smile on my face overtime I drive it!--------My 3rd review of this vehicle is a great one. No problems to date and this vehicle still puts smile on my face every time I'm driving it.-----New review!!!---Still putting a smile on my face. Sooooo much fun to drive! No problems to date. --Another new review !!! ---This car is just so much fun to drive ! I have had no problems at all with this vehicle. Highway MPG is still unbelievable when on cruise control and no playing, 28 to 32 ! Very comfortable on trips and lots of room.

Things to prepare for about this vehicle weather you own the car or are looking to buy: I have a V8 5.7L Hemi (RT Plus) and I love every bit of it. Car has Sport mode to increase drone and handling when wanted. Car is smooth in terms of steering and turning compared to my previously owned vehicle ('13 Dart) and most other cars i've driven in the past. I love this car and its so comfortable. Yes, its a bit bulky, but that also means more cargo space in the trunk and NOT BEING CRUNCHED UP IN THE BACK SEAT. I've owned this car since 08/2017 and have not had ANY major maintenance issues or repairs at all (with the exception for oil changes). I'd rate this car 10/10. Beware though, You do need to put Premium Gas to get the most of your engine. I fill Premium Gas WEEKLY as its a gas guzzler. That's my only complaint. I love everything else about this car! Pros: Steering, Technology/Entertainment, Convenience Package is very good (AC/Heater and Seat Coolers/Warmers), Park Assist, Big enough Rear View Camera to see details clearly, Acceleration (obviously), etc. Cons -- POOR GAS MILEAGE (Avg. 12-14mpg -- V8), and GPS could be a bit better. But thats it, literally. Fantastic ride

The Challenger is a throw-back, true to its origins (1970-71) and I bought this car as a nostalgic tribute to my youth. It has not disappointed. While the 400 lb/ft of torque and 375 horsepower do not make this the quickest car on the street (and certainly not the quickest model of Challenger), it does deliver. I can do 0 - 60 in 5.2 seconds and when you get up to about 4,000 rpm there is a boost that gives you a rush. Weighing a little over 4,000 pounds, this car is planted and is roomy - just like most of the old muscle cars and in stark contrast to the Mustang and Camaro. Rear visibility is limited and the blind spot monitors do help. Most helpful (and this would be true for virtually any car) is the rear-cross path detection sensors. When you need to back out of a parking spot and are surrounded by SUVs and trucks, these sensors really do let you know when something (including pedestrians) is coming. While entry into the back seat is a little difficult, there is room back there and it is quite comfortable. I have had three men in the back seat and they fit quite comfortably. The trunk could be a studio apartment in some urban areas. This is a great cruiser! In-town mileage is not particularly good (15 miles to the gallon) but on trips it will do quite well on highways. I averaged 25.2 mpg on a 600 mile round-trip where 90% of the miles were driven on interstate. And I wasn't going slow. My R/T has the Super Track Pak package and you can feel it in the suspension but also when you are taking curves and corners - for a large vehicle it does very well. Color is "Jazz Blue" - very dark and rich blue - beautiful. I plan on keeping this Challenger for the rest of my life (I am 61). Now up to 7,600 miles and it is still perfect, no rattles or pings, performs as well as it did at 2,500 miles and looks like I got it off the car lot last week!

The car is what it was intended to be. A retro style muscle car, with current day amenities. Is it going to beat your hybrid in a gas mileage contest? No way, but it will kick it's ass from one side of the street to the other. It is loud, a little obnoxious, and a whole lot of fun.

This car is terrific! I ordered and leased this 2014 Header Orange RT Plus for 2 years and almost hate to give it up. And even though Dodge may not offer Orange in 2016, I'm going with Plum Crazy this time. I have to get another Challenger. I love almost everything about this car from the classic muscle car look to the sound it makes when you put your foot into it. And it just makes me feel great when I'm driving it. I have leased my last 9 cars which have all been average, but this is the first time I've ever felt like hanging on to one. I love this car! Gas mileage was expected just as the blind spot in the back. Hey, you can't have everything. It's solid and I have had no issues regarding any repairs or complaints with the car. Dodge has done well with this one and now I'm a confirmed customer.

This car will move. People tend to give the challenger a bad rap solely based on its weight. Name me a car besides the challenger that can do a 0-60 in under 6 seconds while weighing over 2 tons being powered by a V6? None that i can think of. This car isnt a sports car, its a muscle car. Simply put this is the GT car in the pony car segment. Sure the Camaro and Mustang are quicker, but neither of them give the comfort that this car does. If your short, sure the others are better in your eyes, but if your an avg american you will love this car. Real people are over 6ft and need comfort. This car brings you this plus more. The V6 is a great engine, combine that with an AFE CAI and you get 320hp. Road trips are a dream. Some say that the MPG drops off over a period of time but i disagree. Ive had this car for 1.5 years and drove to Vegas last weekend from south orange county. Had a AVG of 31 while doing 80 there and back. Name me a sports car or Muscle car that can make it 550+ miles on a single tank when your not doing 55mph. Take this car around during the week, feel happy knowing that you can fit real adults in the back seat who are'nt 5ft and can still hold all the luggage. This car is the best all in one package.

These cars were a blast! With the 6.2L V8 there is definitely no shortage of power. Check out this video that we made with ours! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dClhLaJjFTQ Needless to say, we recommend getting a couple extra sets of tires with this car.

For a pony car it is quite roomy,I owned a 95 Camaro and it was cramped, seat was not low enough very poor viability . I hate my girlfriends 2012 Mustang also a cracker box. This car is a little larger than the Camaro and Mustang but has very a large interior,I am 6'3 and 250 and had no trouble fitting in car or getting in and out.Very comfortable, okay seating in the back, the Mustang rear seat is for five year olds.Nice looking inside and out, rear visablity is poor.Has more than adequate acceleration for a six cyclinder,I drove my friends Hemi version of the same car, this model has phenomenal acceleration.Sporty retro styling, cleaner lines than the Camaro or Mustang. Fun to drive makes me feel young again. Not a good family car.Not good on ice, loses traction.

Proud owner of an RT and I’ve got no complaints. The improved interior and exterior compared to older models (‘14 and older) are noticeable and appreciated. Interior makes this car feel modern. Completely fell in love with it. Very comfortable for short or long rides, smooth steering and traction, love the roar of the 5.7 Engine. Car is bulky and can fit 3 adults in the back and has good cargo space. Debated on the Mustang GT/Camaro SS but chose the RT plus instead. Only issue is Gas because it’s a V8. Filling premium every 2 weeks. Lol **UPDATE** It’s been 3 years since I’ve owned my baby, and I don’t have any issues. No major maintanence or issues at All. I’ve stuck with my regular oil changes, tire rotation, switched tires, etc. installed the Hellcat intake, CAI and a Reso delete (flowmaster) and this car is truly a beauty. I still get compliments til this day compares to when I first bought it, and it still drives fantastic! I do not regret buying this car, I love it!!

Well I upgraded my rental car while on vacation in California, had it for a week, put 1400 miles on it, going from Sacramento to Santa Cruz, Yosemite and Monterey bay, and San Francisco. Got it for a bit more money, because I always wanted to test drive one of these beautiful cars. Was disappointed that it was only a V6 at first, but let me say this car was a blast.I it was surprisingly quick and i accelerate quickly as a rule, and the fuel economy was unreal. Averaged 31 mpg over 1400 miles, better then rated. mix of hwy trips (often 80mph on crazy cali highways) and even going up over 7000 feet at yosemite still was 30 that day. I was shocked made me want to trade my kia sorrento which i previously loved and just purchased. I would be more then happy with the v6 model and I have always felt that a car like this belongs with a v8, but with that wonderful 8 speed tranny, its not much of a performance downgrade over the previous years 5.7 hemi with 5 speed tranny and it gets much better fuel economy.

Highly recommend. Great fuel mileage-22 to 24 mpg at 75 mph and 30 mpg at 55 mph. Acceleration is great, never driven anything like it. It is a blast to drive and tons of fun. Has more power than Oem tires can handle when accelerating from a stop. Auto trans can break tires lose at 60 mph under heavy acceleration. Great ride and fuel mileage when behaving and phenomenal performance when desired. That much power should be illegal, but glad it isn’t. As great as ‘‘this car is, I can only imagine what the Demon must be like. Bought it new in 2015. Not a daily driver and only driven in good weather.

Dodge's answer to the Camaro and Mustangs. VERY ROOMY compared with Camaros and Mustangs !!! Easy access.Peppy for a six cylinder if you want a hotter model go with the HEMI.Great looking car inside and hot, nice looking wheels.Very poor rear visibility.Better trunk size than the Camaro or Mustang.Fun car ! I would lease or buy again.Like all Chrysler products only average reliability.Lot of bang for the buck.

This car is all muscle. It's mean and loud. It wants to go fast but it will still putter around town, albeit not very happily. It snaps and pops while downshifting and makes beautiful music from the exhaust under full throttle. It has great cargo space in the trunk. Back seats fold down for larger items like skis. Handles like it's on rails.

This is by far the best design of all of the retro design cars. It offers comfort, the ability to achieve the 25 mpg rating (when you're not playing with the gas pedal!), up to date technology, great performance and it gathers a crowd! This has been on my bucket list for a long time. Style, Fun, Technology, Efficiency (for a muscle car) and a whole lot for the money.

I have been having problems with the 6 speed manual. I'm having problems shifting into second gear. I took the car back to "Anderson Dodge" in Rockford Illinois. I told them it wont shift into 2nd gear very easy. All the other gears are fine but 2nd is having difficulty's. The transmission is also winding at constant speeds. They called me and said that they had 3 people drive the car put couldn't duplicate the problem and refused to fix it. The car only has 8000 miles and should not have these kind of problems. The problem is very obvious and happens every time I drive it. I guess they just don't want to fix it. Not sure what to do about this. The car is fine except the transmission. Update, The Car now has 100000miles and the Transmission is worst than ever. 2nd gear is very difficult to shift into. It is unsafe. I have learned to compensate for the faulty 2nd gear.

This car has provided flawless service over more than 3 years. Honestly, other than rear quarter visibility, I can't find anything to fault. Even with the V6 in such a heavy car acceleration is great and it has returned over 30mpg on long trips. Can't imagine being any happier with a car. We were so happy with this car we recently traded it for an almost identically equipped 2018 Charger as we needed the convenience of a four door for dealing with an infant car seat.

Hotrod meets dad dodge

Jacob, 02/14/2022
2015 Dodge Challenger SXT 2dr Coupe (3.6L 6cyl 8A)
1 of 1 people found this review helpful

This car is phenomenal. It has just a enough juice to make you feel like your gripping the wheel of that old hotrod from yester years and just enough trunk space to fulfill that mile long grocery list. When I became a dad 9 years ago, I thought it was over. Double clutching my Chevy SS was looking like a distant memory for fear of practicality and dependability. Moral conflict was on the rise and I found myself at a crossroad in life. Do I give it all up? Do I get an SUV with longevity and 8000 air bags? Do I just go polar opposite and settle for a minivan? So many questions arose… no direction was given. I found myself stuck in a world of what ifs and what could be’s…constantly wondering if I could ever feel that sort of vehicle freedom again… that is… until I had a dream. I dreamed that I was cruising down the road in a mopar with the sunroof open and not a care in the world. The music was just right and my child was sitting comfortably in the back seat. Compromise wasn’t in the dream. Fear wasn’t in the dream. Moral conflict wasn’t in the dream… just the sound of freedom and the warm breeze of happiness flowing through my hair. Upon waking up, the first thought that came in to my mind was the Dodge Challenger. I had never owned one before, let alone thought about it. I began my research and started my journey towards making this car a reality. I visited a dealership and found the car. The only question I had was to my daughter. “Do you fit in the back?” I asked… and she responded with a resounding answer that I will never forget to this day. “Kind of.” Little did she know that’s all I needed. Just a kind of. Just a sliver of hope. Just a step in the right direction. And just like that, we were all in. I can’t say enough how much I love this car and the impact it has had on my life. Pulling up to birthday parties is not an issue anymore because I have risen above reproach and I’m not ashamed about it. I used to spend many sleepless nights wondering if the feeling would ever come back… and as a living testimony today I can assure you… it can. Everywhere I go others rev their engine at me. Whether that be in approval or wanting to race… I don’t know. I just smile and wave and continue on to Wal Mart to get the groceries, with the Sun roof open, wind in my hair, and a kind of in the back seat. This is living.

This car is extremely dangerous. We purchased ours brand new from the dealership in Brandon, Florida. Less than 1 month later had our first close call with an accident when the vehicle without warning looses all acceleration as we are pulling into oncoming traffic from a stop sign. The gear shift "D" flashes red and the digital readout on the dashboard instructs you to "Place vehicle in Park and shift to desired gear". This means that no matter where you are whether in the middle of an intersection or while merging into oncoming traffic, you must come to a complete stop and put the vehicle in "Park" and then shift back into "Drive". This has happened a total of 5 times with two of those being captured on video by my son who was driving the car. Dodge still has no idea what is causing the problem nor do they have any clue how to fix it. Filed a Lemon Law suit notified the NTSB as well as the Federal Trade Commission. Don't put yourself, family members or the innocent other driver at risk. This car needs to be considered for a Class Action Lawsuit against Dodge.

Best automobile I've ever driven. After my left knee replacement in 2020 I have not been able to drive this wonderful car. Now, I wish I had gotten the Automatic. The Hellcat is now a Garage Queen with only 17,000 miles on it. Still a Great Car, but I can't enjoy it like I should. Looking for some one who loves Hellcats who could give it justice

The performance for the price was incredible. Six years with zero defects. Couldn't be happier with the car.
