Looks great, reliability extremely poor
Been a mopar fan most of my life and have owned many dodge trucks. Bought a 2013 R/T one owner Challenger with low miles. Bought the extended warranty (thank God) because the car had just 50,000 and was 4 years old at time of purchase. To make a long painful story short, the engine started making a tapping sound shortly after purchase within first 500 miles of ownership. I took it to my local dealer for a new alternator (under a recall) and the dealer said it needed new lifters ($3500). Luckily, the warranty covered it but soon after the engine started clattering and blow-up. Dealer said needed new motor and that they have replaced many hemis due to dry cylinders with deactivation. New engine was $10,000 which the extended warranty didn't want to cover but under duress from attorneys decided to pay-up. Drove the car to another dealership that day to sell it to them and paid $500 of my own money just to get out from under the payments. That is the last Dodge I will buy newer than a 2005. My 2005 Ram 1500 Hemi WITHOUT the Multi-Displacement System has just over 190,000 miles and runs like new. Buyer beware and do some research about the issues with hemis and lifters, etc.

Nice Car
Strongly consider your options as to whether or not you want to purchase and SXT, R/T, SRT, SCAT PACK, etc. As o could see how you might want more power after driving the ACT if you are a car enthusiasts. I love the car, and considering the fact that I am in college and on a budget the SXT fit my budget. Still great performance out of the 5.7 Liter V6. Fun car, and definitely speaking to the eye. You won't be dissapointed. I can't speak to much to the reliability because I have only owned a month. If you go for the ACT you may want to do as I did and replace your head unit for a better entertainmenr experience. I like the fact that the challenger is for the most part easy to customize.
