119k with proper oil changes and routine service. Hydraulic lift in engine went bad and took the entire engine. Now they want $10k for a ReMan engine on a vehicle that isn't worth $10k. Chevy doesn't want to help at all.

i got my trax in january of 2023 as my first car! she started to misfire but after getting a tune up, she was good as new! recently i’ve been having a problem that my mechanic hasn’t been able to pinpoint what’s wrong, but sadly i was in an MVA accident today so we will never know the problem. i am so glad that i was driving an SUV during my accident, id say it saved my life. although my trax is totaled, i walked out with no major injuries. i would definitely recommend this car to anyone that would like a smaller, cute, comfortable SUV that is great on gas and has more modern technology! i would definitely purchase another trax is i happen to have the opportunity! long live my baby, trixie trax!

Do not buy this vehicle, you will have so many expensive repairs even if you keep up on maintenance. The turbo engine is a horrible design for this vehicle when everything under the hood is plastic, it constantly overheats and causes the plastic parts to expand then crack. As soon as one thing is fixed, another will break. Do not waste your time, extremely unreliable

Loved the size and look of it. But it was the 1st car I've ever purchased that they had to recall it, to fix the front wheels bar/rod or something, 1-1/2 years after I purchased it. It literally could have killed me or others! And the engine light begin coming on 2-1/2 years after purchasing it. I've had 3 other new cars, 1 used car in my life. This Trax has been giving me more problems in 1st 3 years than any of my cars -- even used did in 9 years! I always kept the oil changed, rotated tires, air filter changed - just general good maintenance. After 8 to 9 years - I never experienced them having to "check what's wrong, because the engine light keeps coming on, or the car sputtering!" And it cost too much for all this stress. And I cannot afford it. It's like after so much wrong with it - they should lower the price, or just take it back, and let me out of the loan. But I pray God will intervene and work it out, for His Glory! Sorry for the review, but I feel like I may be saving someone's life. You never know who's going thru depression or anxiety these days. That's why I had to let someone know I am praying for every owner of the Trax that's struggling financially. You'll be ok. Don't give up!

I feel in love with my Girl friends 2016.. Rootbeer brown.. What really did it for me was how well it zig zaged. threw the traffic.. So easy to move around.. And corning at the grocery store.. WOW what a fun little ride especially with my girl friend always changing her mine what store to shop at or were to park (why do girls do that? lol) Anyways the little thing was perfect caring around her and her little fluff ball dog.. Dog was kinda cool with a Awesome attitude.. So a year later I wanted to trade my 1996 Honda Civic in .. Ran Full synthetics do a engine good. PEOPLE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION HERE.. Im a Electrician at one of the biggest multi car dealer in the State of Wa. DO YOUR HOMEWORK PEOPLES. UNLESS YOU DONT LIKE MONEY'S STAY IN YOUR BANK. Shop smart.. I know most the people were I work. So I tried a internet buy.. Never dealt with such worthless brain dead dufficess. They priced them selfs.$26,000 for a 2016 5200 miles.. Pot is legal but do be high when I buy a car.. So Found one in Renton Wa. 2000 miles. Text the guy. Told him I won't pay a cent over $17,000 Got me a 2017 Chevy premier fully loaded.
