2022 Traverse Premier Problems
Purchased 2022 Traverse new in July. Was out of alignment and had rattles when picked up soon afterword cruise would intermittently stop working and service driver assist system would keep coming up on dash. Has had numerous trips to dealer with approx 15 days out of commission for parts ordered wrong, wrong parts installed etc... Now has to be in shop for one week to try and figure out why cruise continues to quits working, this is after front cameras and wiring harness have been replaced. GM may pay for rental this week but will have to wait 5 weeks for reimbursement. We love the Traverse but not worth it with the service issues. My biggest problem is not that it has had problems it is that GM acts like my time and money after the purchase is worth nothing. No one has reached out or apologized for the huge hassle factor with the vehicle. Purchased a Lincoln which had lots of problems and the dealership took care of rental cars and offered an extended warranty for our problems, nothing from GM or our Chevy Dealership. I cannot recommend the Traverse based on reliability.

Brake noises
Recently purchase brand new. Have drove it for less than 1000 miles on it and brakes have an issue. Brakes have a grinding noise throughout the drive. Sound louder at first then once brakes heat up it sound less but you can hear and feel it at mid to higher speed brakes. I brought it to my local dealership who told me "GM is aware of the issue but have not found a solution for the problem. 2020 models have the same issue and GM has not found a solution yet." If I knew this before I purchased this vehicle, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Excellent vehicle. Spacious and not to big
Traverse is spacious inside and not to big as other suvs. Very convenient to drive. Leased a 2018 and now a 2021..

Great value on a very capable SUV!
The Traverse is deceptively big inside. It's a little longer than a Durango but seems to be much more spacious inside. It seats 4 people very comfortably, 6 nicely, and 7 if we were in a pinch. both rows fold flat for cargo. The tow package is modern and hidden until needed. The space under the back for storage is very deep. We got the LT leather package which is a great balance of value versus luxury. The truck has USB chargers everywhere. The plastic mats, while all the rage these days, are not really our style. It says it's an AWD but this is the first AWD I've seen with a 4X4 selector switch. We leave it in 2 wheel drive. It has a very smooth ride and the V6 w/ 9 speed automatic is surprisingly quick. Coming off a cloverleaf onto the freeway and you will not want to floor it because you'll catch traffic too fast. I like the 18" wheels rather than the 20" because we have younger drivers and I'm tired of driving scratched up rims from curb hits. I was very pleased to see it wearing Bridgestone Alenza tires, which likely contribute to the smooth ride. I'm disappointed it came with a 1980s plain-Jane rear view mirror that doesn't dim headlights. I haven't had a car with this style mirror in 20 years and didn't know and were made like this. The electronics are where I am most pleased. We have driven many luxury cars and even normal Toyotas and Fords lately where the new electronic suites are over the top and difficult to use. The electronics suite in this ride is quite modern while being quite easy to use. And you can turn off lane assist and the "turning itself off when you stop" thing. Apple Car Play works with or without wires and there's a magnetic phone charger. This is a great ride and we will have many years to build memories in this larger SUV. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the plastic mats and cheap rear view mirror. But the power and clean electronics suite more than make up for that.
