Used 2010 Chevrolet Traverse Consumer Reviews
Love this car!
Terrific handling; quick response; plenty of cargo space for a one month visit across country. We've driven this car 2500 miles from Midwest to FL and back, 20 mpg. City mpg is 16. Console between front seats is problematic. Any plug into cigarette lighter blocks easy access to to cup holders. Rear view for backing is not good. Rear blind spots too big. We don't have that rear view option, but a friend who has one in his 2009 Traverse says he doesn't use it.
Great value!
I just traded my sport truck off for the vehicle for reliability and for the three kids, I am impressed with it a lot better than the $30k Uplander that GM bought back from us last year because of major problems! The Traverse handles good, lots of power, rides like a truck with the 18's and sets high for pride ha,ha gas mileage is not what I expected we get about 20 mpg avg I think it will be better when I put synthetics in the engine after first oil change. And I wish we would of got the LT2 with entertainment package and the 2nd row captain's chairs for the kids but all in all it's a great replacement for a minivan, for people like me with pride, no more guys doing the minivan walk of shame!

2010 Traverse LT1 FWD w/options
Bought 2010 Traverse LT1 FWD w/tow package, dual sunroof/moonroof, roof cross rails & Captains chairs back in November. Thus far, love this vehicle. Mileage varies but avg about 23 mpg hwy currently, certainly no worse than my previous 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe. Plenty of room for 7 & 13 yr olds in the back seat and plenty of room for 6' tall spouse in the passenger. Rides smooth and comfortable for family of four. The third row was tested when family friends were visiting - no complaints. Handled well in the snow as a result of the winter storm that hit MD/DC/VA/PA area right before Christmas. Can't wait to drive this on our next vacation.
2010 LT2 AWD
Only have 1100 miles on this traverse so far but have not had any problems. We have 6 children so a minimum 8 passenger was required. Much better gas economy than the 12 passenger Express. Is my wife's car and so far she is satisfied, time will tell.
An excellent vehicle for familes.
We traded our Jeep Liberty in for the Traverse because we have two children and often drive to vacation destinations. The Traverse is a perfect alternative to a minivan, having lots of room for passengers and plenty more for cargo. Despite the extensive list of suggested improvements, this vehicle is a great vale compared to the others we looked at - the Acadia and the Enclave.
