Worst new car experience

I've never had a new vehicle at the dealership for warranty work as much as this junk. Within the first month I had water flowing out of the overhead console due to the antenna leaking. Also the trim piece under the wipers was warped. Both were replaced by the dealership and I was reassured that it wouldn't leak again. Four months later and both issues were back and repaired. Eight months in and the 10 speed transmission is acting up as well as the parking sensors, blind spot monitoring and theft deterrent systems going haywire. This is definitely my last new GM purchase and I look forward to the lease ending.

Second bad experience with Chevrolet

2018 Tahoe Premier - After 50,000 miles both front and rear shocks were shot. Cost $4,000 to replace them. Chevrolet acknowledged it is a bad experience at only 50,000 miles, but did nothing after researching for 5 weeks. Bad experience all around. My prior car 2016 Suburban had transmission go out at 100,000 miles. These cars are poorly made!

I am done with Chevy vehicles

2018 Chevy Tahoe has had the following problems in the last 4 years 1) column shifter was stuck and had to be replaced. I couldn't move the shifter from park to drive. 2) this summer my AC wasn't working. Took the vehicle to the Chevy dealership and was told the AC condenser had to be replaced. After researching the problem, many customers were reporting the same issues in previous models. They most likely replaced the AC condenser with the same defective part. 3) Engine would hesitate 1 or 2 times. The engine would almost stall and feel bogged down. 4) Just informed yesterday (Oct 10, 2022) that my transmission has to be replaced. Pohanka Chevy dealership would not return my calls so after dropping it off on Friday morning I didn't get any assistance or status calls until Monday morning when I showed up for a third time at the dealership. I was waiting for a simple diagnostic to confirm the issue. I've been getting my scheduled maintenance so it really seems like these vehicles are NO GOOD WHATSOEVER!! Was informed by other Chevy service reps that other Chevy vehicles are having the same transmission issues before they reach 100k miles on the odometer. No one in Chevy wants to address the issue. These vehicles used to be reliable not anymore. Going with Toyota, Honda, Acura and Lexus for now on.
