The 2017 Tahoe is significantly improved over the 2009 Yukon that I previously owned. The engine is powerful, responsive, and very quiet at idle. The handling is excellent, and the most noticeable improvement. Gas mileage is also improved, but like most SUVs greatly dependent on how you drive, and how fast you are driving especially on the highway.

I love my new Tahoe, I use to have Suburban's and Tahoe's, then I went to a Toyota Highlander and now I'm back with a Tahoe. I needed the extra room and it's perfect.

noisy windy noise from either sunroof or front door windows, rust starting under vehicle after 3 months old, squeaking sound from driver side rear emergency brake line chevrolet flaw, not happy with vehicle at all, transmission jumps hard sometimes while shifting.

I would never purchase a General Motors vehicle after my first experience with Chevrolet. I had to replace the 5.3 engine at two years old due to the fuel management system / DOD damaging the engine from the 8 to 4 cylinder mode. I made a case with General Motors. They gave the run around for almost 4 months. They told me that they would reimburse my costs of the engine then decided that they wouldn’t. I even had issues out of the new 5.3 engine. It stalled on my wife multiple times. General Motors will not do any thing about it. General Motors said that they didn’t care. They basically said that they were not worried about safety.

This is my 3rd Tahoe. I love it. The Midnight Edition is extremely bold looking with blacked out tires, paint and trim. The Z 71 Package allows for real deer hunting off roading but still elegant enough for me to drive to a nice dinner with my wife or Court with my clients.
