Nothing but issues
I bought my 20023 Chevy Suburban with only 4 miles on it. I drive it from the dealership 24 miles close to my house and stopped running on me, just shut off and would not start back up. I had to have to it towed, mind you it only had 28 miles on it. Come to find out that the battery was shot and I needed to get a new one already. Then all the censers started to go off for no reason. Called the dealership and they said it needed a system update. Did the update but the problem was still happening. My radio wouldn’t come on at all. I called Chevy and they said it needed a new head unit, I took it in but they said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Now when I try to use my wiper fluid the motor is broken and will not work even with the fluid full. In my honest opinion I wouldn’t spend the $65K on the Suburban. Not worth the money or the hassle with the [non-permissible content removed].

Picked up a house on wheels...
2023 suburban ls with 5.3 v8, 4wd, 20 inch wheels, ash metallic with dark interior. Paid $61-62k MSRP. Other dealers had incoming or were charging $10k over MSRP. Apr was 4.09 at 60 months opr 4.29 at 72 months. Traded in a base '18 Ford explorer XLT with 55k miles. Wife and I have 3 children and a couple of dogs. Thought we could use the space. Drives like a big truck, aka Silverado. Cross shopped new Expedition and expedition max countless times. Felt like trying out General Motors product since we came from a Ford, plus we see so many new Tahoes, Yukons, and Escalades on the road... So was thinking we can't go wrong. 5.3 v8 is the more commonly available engine. Don't like the fact that this 5.3 is not manufactured in the USA like the 6.2 v8. Would love to have the 18 inch wheels even though the 20s look better on this big vehicle. So far, 75 miles on the vehicle and tank is just under the full mark. Hoping for 20 average. Will take a road trip to Houston here shortly, so we will get to test it out some more. Kids love the space and appreciate it the most. Hoping to maximize on usage of vehicle as children grow older. We have three daughters - a 13 year old, 10 year old, and a 4 year old. We have a couple of dogs as well. High country loaded version was just under 90k on showroom floor. Went for the LS at about 25-30k less. Wife is happy. Size and parking the vehicle will take some getting used to, especially as it sticks out quite a bit from the rear end compared to it's smaller Tahoe sibling. Thanks for reading. I love reading everyone's reviews here. *Edit: Wish the Suburban had more standard safety features like Blindspot monitoring and power rear trunk opening and more.

2023 suburban AC troubles
in one year time the AC had issues 3 times and they had parts on backorder for months, they kept the suburban as it was torn apart to fix

Worst!
Critical system broke at 200 miles. It broke again at 1,000 miles. I’m four months since delivery and a month since I’ve seen the car (they can’t find a part to replace it) and still don’t have it. Worst buying experience ever. Avoid GM at all costs. GM corporate is no help. Not the dealerships fault, it’s a GM manufacturing issue. Get the smaller Sequoia and save yourself my $78,000 fully loaded mistake.

Not safe!
Start problems constantly with start stop mode and cannot not Change default so you have to reset it Every time you drive it. We have stalled out on multiple occasions because of this of this function. It's a huge problem especially in heavy traffic. Also the biggest problem is that it will lock you out and the fob and keys will be inside! We have had this happen 3 times where we left the vehicle while it was running to pump gas with the dog in the car and it locked us out! We had to call 911 to get them to open it. Glad we were not in a high crime area at the time.... Not safe!
Worst ever in past 10 years
I use to buy (3) suburbans and all were good… last one I bought was in 2014. Today is another store… but I will blame the CEO of GM. She has created junk and destroyed a great company that made great products. In todays world she needs to be cancelled and the brand Chevy Needs good engineers to rebuild what it once was.

Luxury Car
There’s a reason this car is expensive. The 2023 is amazing with its updates. The 360 camera is awesome. I could be more in awe because I drove my 2014 Honda Odyssey for almost 9 years. But overall, very impressed with all the features I got in my LT 4dr.

Comfortable Large Workhorse
Very comfortable ride and very responsive handling with lots of storage. This vehicle has exceeded my expectations and the Team at Edwards 280 deserves accolades for ensuring the vehicle was first class in every way.
Engine goes bad within less than a year
Do not trust these new Chevrolet. I bought a 2023 , don’t have a year and it’s in shop because engine is bad. Was told engineers aren’t perfect so problems will arise. A recall is about to be made on new problems. October 26,2023

Very Nice
Drove this rental car for 2600 miles on family trip from Indy to DFW area. It was mostly similar to a Ford Expedition I drove earlier, being an ideal family bus with style. Highs: Love the interior quality, digital instrument panel can be customized to show what you want and looks nice in general, got a decent 19.3 MPG overall on mostly 75 MPH highway driving. Lows: At least on my example, had to press the brake pedal quite hard to make even moderate stops. Selecting Sport vs. Normal made no perceptible difference in any way. Mine probably did not have heated side mirrors, at least not that I could tell. Overall, seems to be on par with Ford Expedition.

Duramax Preimer Engine Blew
We loved this car until the engine blew at 30,000 miles right around the year mark while I was just outside of Barstow and struggled to get an Uber and a tow truck for over an hour to want to come get me. I had 3 kids with me by myself a young mom. A trans axel oil bracket broke a then a week later the metal ring broke both causing the car to leak oil. These were at 50,000 miles and two years old. The screen blacks out randomly, the auto stop start sometimes stalls and I have to turn my car off at the intersection and restart it. Very unreliable car, I hope it’s just the diesel because I want to love the suburban because I need a car this size but it’s given us nothing but anxiety, stress and frustration!

2023 Z71 Suburban
Great look, but very unreliable. Started having issues about 20,000 miles. Now I'm at 27k miles and it has completely broke down on me. started with deep engine knocking. Ended with high pitch chattering before it just stopped.

Wont Start; unlreliable!
Less than 500 miles and the fancy pants master board strangely, and routinely, drains the battery so that the vehicle will not start the next day. Don't know what to say and the dealership is calling in the 'higher ups' 🥴
