I like the new body style. I think its a vary nice car. And the only complaint I really have is the dic driver info center. The car has some pep not much would've liked to see a 2.4l and OnStar on the base, but all in all it's a car to point a to point b, nothing unique about it.

At 6'7'' I don't have the luxury of being picky about which cars I can drive. Many auto makers both foreign and domestic seem to have forgotten the "large" market of car buyers. With a telescopic steering column and six- way power seat option I found no problems on entry and exit as well as driving comfort. When I found this car and sat in it and I thought "this is great room but how does it perform?" I was pleasantly suprised at the acceleration in this vehicle, very peppy in the 0-60 range under 8 seconds. All of that with an average fuel economy of 28mpg city/hwy, this is one of the most value minded car choices in America!

Good Value for the Cost

We (my wife and I) looked at about 15 different vehicles before deciding on the 2004 Malibu. The main reasons that we chose the Malibu over the Accord or the Camry was cost and the self starter, plus the XM radio was a nice addition. We have owned the car for 2 months and so far we are very happy with our purchase - meaning that the car has handled well in the ice and snow that Columbus has been having this year. We are looking forward to the warmer weather and being able to use the sun roof! Also, kudos and applause for building a window washer container that holds the whole bottle, no leftovers with the Malibu!!!!

Had the car for 6 months and 10,000 miles. Can't find anything to complain about yet. Comfortable and fun to drive, great pick-up, and fuel economy better then I expected. 25 mpg around town and 30-31 mpg during commute.

I owned a 2003.....This car is not even the same, at all. I have never driven a car that has the handling, ever. I let my friends drive it and the only way for them to descibe is, it drives itself! I beg someone to find a car for $30,000 with the same ride experience.

I've driven Malibus before, but the new restyled 2004 had some pleasent surprises. Great new body styling. I'm a big guy and found lots of head, leg and shoulder room. The pedal adjust for shorter drivers. I love the telescoping steering wheel. Fits like a glove. Interior comfort, all the bells a whistles I have enjoyed with larger, more expensive models. I got the XM/On-Star option, nice. Extremely smooth, quiet drive. Large truck. Split, fold down rear seat, and front passenger seat that fold down for transporting. Even my 22 year old son thinks it's "fly". (He said that means it's a nice car.) A great car at a great price!

I purchased my 2004 Malibu after going for three months without any car following an accident which totaled by 2004 Cavalier. As luck would have it it put me in a great position to wind up with this Malibu. I had never really heard much about them until I found this one at a local dealer. After reading up on it I found that it sounded like it would be worth a look. I took it for a test drive and looked it over and found it was great. I have owned it for three weeks now and the car has been more than what I imagined it would be. Roomy, comfortable, with loads of features that I could only have dreamed about in my Cavalier (remote start, automatic lights, electric pedals and seats etc).

I'm 6'2'' and weigh 240 lbs. The car fits me. Seats are comfortable (very adjustable for all sizes), and car rides and drives great. Love the stearing. The car is very manueverable. Seems to have more pickup than my previous Passat turbo 4 cyl. Better gas milage, too, on regular gas. Whole lot of power in the lower ranges, where I'm driving most of the time anyway. Much easier to get into and out of than my passat. And, I've never found a Camrey or Accord I fits like this one. Others don't provide this much engineering, creature comfor and features for the money.

Just bought my Malibu. I have been an SUV driver for the past 2 years. Never thought I would be driving a car again. I saw the new Maxx and thought WOW! thats cool. Test drove the Maxx and loved it! While waiting on the saleman to do the "numbers" I saw the Malibu LS in the showroom and started to think..could this be for me? Long story short after having the salesman clean snow off of a black LS and a dark grey metallic I bought the dark grey. I love this car! No more SUV for me.

I did a lot or researching on line and to get everything I wanted in a car it would have costs 30K or more. The Malibu save me 10K plus it has all the great safety features, good ride etc. My only concern will be the reliability. However, my other two cars have been GM vehicles and I have not had a problem with either one. If you are on the fence. Go for it.

Extremely satisfied with the Malibu LS. This is the first new car I have owned for two months without having to take it back to the garage. For those who find the headrest too close to the back of their heads, I suggest they remove the headrest, turn it 180 degrees and reinstall it. This will place it in a more conventional position.

I am very pleased with the Malibu. It is quiet with a solid feel on the road. Handles rough pavement well and the seat are very adjustable, especially with the telescoping steering wheel. The engine is smooth and has plenty of power. The steering is a little too light for my taste, but my wife likes it fine. Only complaint is the tires are not up to the standards of the rest of the car. The handling is just adequate and I suppect the 15" Bridgstones don't have the grip I'm used to.

Had LT since Oct 04. My main concern in choosing the LT over Camry and Accord was quality. So far, my concerns were unwarranted. You get a lot more for less money than you do with Camry or Accord. Especially like ABS brakes included. Like the ability to fold front and back seats. Gas mileage is 30+ on highway. I like the styling of the car and the brushed leather seats add a nice touch of elegance.

When I totaled my Volvo S60 i needed to get a car fast. and it had to be satisfying yet inexspensive it also had to be around the size of the S60. found the 04 malibu. I was surprised by the Malibu's performance..its ride is very great and it gives me that secure feeling...its engine is very responsive. My son usually takes the car out and goes driving around with his cousin and friends, he loves it. It has that sleek yet muscular design that the s60 got. The interior is quiet and simple..If your looking for a car..this is it..its a bargan priced Euro or Import and is just as good and the V6 is priced lower that some competetors I4!

This year our company vehicle swithced from the Impala to the Malibu and everyone began to complain. I got one of the first ones and pleasantly surprised. Ony negative is the smaller interior size. Trunk is ample and the car is more responsive and much tighter than the Impala. New design is sharp. I like it.

Since I got it I have only had to do the normal things like oil and brakes. Oh I can't get my gas cap to stay on. The only thing I dont like about these cars is there front end is ugly. They look like bugs. The car has plenty of power and great handeling once you get use to the torque steering. I think it was wort every penny I paid for it

A truly "American" car. Plenty of power from the V6 and a quiet, roomy interior. This car is built for the freeway rather than hairpin curves. Just set the cruise control at any sane or relatively insane speed and those interstate miles quickly melt away. The electric power steering offers very little feedback and the suspension is somewhat soft, although I always felt in control of the vehicle.

This vehicle has a number of features which make it very desirable. Malibu has comfortable seats, excellent head and leg room for tall drivers, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, height- adjustable brake and gas pedals. Malibu is built on a Saab frame and provides a tight ride with no under- or over-steer. The ride is quiet and smoothe and the vehicle accelerates well in the 50 mph to 75+ mph range. Good visibility for the driver. Dash board instruments are well designed and easily readable. Heating, cooling, and ventilating knobs are within easy reach. Good trunk room. 16" wheels. Understated lines - fun to drive.

Rides well. Great mileage for a new car. Quiet interior and minimal road noise at all speeds. Really appreciate the "remote vehicle starter system" from inside the house, especially on those very cold days. Should be great for the hot summer days. Exterior design has improved over prior years styles. Chevrolet has right with their heated leather seats - almost instantly.
