Flat tire
If you ever have a flat tire be sure you have a10mm wrench with you because some dumb ass decided to bolt the jack to the rear wall and floor of the behind and under the back seat with not way to move the seat so you could get a socket or pliers on the nuts. I had to call my father in law to bring me a wrench at 8 pm when I had a flat just because I couldn't get the damn jack out of the truck
Solid all-round work truck
Just shy of 4000 hard miles in, and I am loving it. With the addition of an aftermarket tonneau cover, I'm averaging around 22 mpg even accounting for the fact that I commute over a small mountain range, the short bed is more than sufficient for the hand tools I need to lug about, and it's handled all the offroad situations I've put it through like a champ. Handling and ride are generally quite good for a truck, which is appreciated on the long commutes to work, and it's electronic power steering provides much better feedback and sense of connection to the road than most other electronic power steering setups I've experienced. The automatic transmission can be sluggish, especially when cold, but the V6 engine itself has a lot of get up and go. My only major gripe is that visibility is quite poor out the back, and the mirrors are pitifully inadequate, being quite small, and featuring an absolutely miniscule blindspot mirror on the driver's side only that does a very good job of showing you what's in one lane too far, and a very poor job of showing you what's in your blind spot. Looking over your shoulder when making lane changes is an absolute necessity. It might not be as luxurious as its competitors, but frankly, that is a very small price to pay for best in class towing, a very solid payload, good bed space, comfortable handling, and very reasonable fuel economy. It also has quite literally the only infotainment system I've met that I actually like, providing excellent ease of use, a wide array of features, and minimal distractions.

Voice commands really don't work.
If I disconnect my bluetooth phone, then I hit the voice command button, it says I have to connect a phone. There's no choice. Once phone is connected, voice commands go directly to google assistant. If assistant doesn't know what to do then all commands are ignored. For the most part it would try to load up Youtube Music app which would use my phone's data if it was enabled. It's not, so voice commands don't work at all with this truck. This is with the LT model truck. While the truck itself is great, and I needed truck functionality, I find that they have skimped. My previous car is a 2013 Volt, and it would search USB, not my phone, and it was perfect. I can't believe I payed 36k for crap not working like this.
