this is a pickup truck so do not expect a cadillac ride. the suspension is stiff and the ride is a bit ruff. getting in as a 6 foot+ tall may cause a few bumps on the old noggin. the door frame could be 4 inches higher. the seats plastc trim will catch you and say hello on the way in. steering wheel is a bit low as well at the highest point you may still find it low. these are all minor items to me. now for the good stuff. the V6 is no slouch, then again i had nothing in the box either. road noise is not bad by any means. the interior layout is simple and if studied for a few minutes easily figured out. the radio volume buttons are behind the steering wheel which i find great as i just reach my fingers around. the radio seems to be a basic touchscreen but requires an onstar subscription for navigation. this is where you must not forget your gps or google maps if you are renting one for the weekend. the tailgate does have a lock on it to help avert theft. fuel mileage seems decent in the city i rented this for the weekend and i will only be adding about $14.00 worth of gas for the return to be full. overall i would consider purchasing one if the price was a bit lower. for this model V6 4 door crew LT the price is a bit to high. i can buy a low mileage used Full size for same price. GM needs to rethink this a bit perhaps a few less luxuries inside. power seat could be one deletion in lowering price and a more basic cd radio would be another. with engine technology what it is today perhaps an economy setting is in order as well.

Many people find that they have to replace the torque converter after doing any towing. The truck is rated for 7000lbs of towing and I towed a 4500lb trailer on flat terrain with one. It ruined my transmission after very light use. My first transmission went out after 15000 miles. Anyway, I dumped it and will never buy another Chevy again.

The Main thing I Wish I had realized on a 10 minute test drive and the Dealers won't tell you is that on the 2019 Colorado & Canyon they removed half the padding out of the Drivers seat to "Make it easier to get in & out" But if you take a 30 minute drive it feels like a 1/2 inch board burying up in your thigh. I bought one two months ago and it had 1500 miles on it and I traded it off because the seat was so uncomfortable.. and when I compared it to the passenger seat it is about half as thick..I was going to take it back to the Dealer but I found a GM Tech Link Page that says that is the way it is designed so no repairs will be done...here is the Link to the Page.... I don't want anybody else make the same mistake I did.... [HTML removed]

After one week of having truck screws fell out from under the dash. Also the information center was having static in the radio. Could not connect to wi-fi in truck, called on star they said info was not working right . Transmission when you put in Drive or Reverse makes a loud clunking noise. Then when you go to take off trans will down shift then upshift . When in traffic it has loss of accerlation and shifts up and down to much. Also noise coming from front end, you hit a bump feels like something loose under truck. Driver seat feels like the springs are already popping. To much plastic in truck . We have had truck for 4 months. Will never buy a Chevy again. Also one more thing General Motors says that it is normal for the transmission to shift hard.
