Solid - That simple Over 5 years only lost the water pump. No other maintenance.

only pronlems i had were power steering pump went after 4 yrs and master cylinder went this yr

Solid dependable workhorse

Solid workhorse. The Silverado package is the way to go if you go used on these. Had it 3 years, only had to replace the waterpump and front brakes. 350 if a proven platform that GM improved yet again with the introduction is Sequential fuel injection. Tows a big bass boat with no problems. Can't wait to get back from overseas to drive it, in storage now.

Other than a noisy fuel pump, the truck has been extremely reliable. Several dealers have said replacing the fuel pump would not quiet it down as it is inside factory specs. With a 5.7 V-8, the mileage at first was 13 city, 18 highway,I installed a K&N air filter & put a Tornado in the intake and I started getting 16-20 MPG. Incredible increase in H.P. & torque.

Like the power of the 5.7L, enough but not too much
