My Own Personal DeathTrap
This wasn't my idea to get this car. My parents bought it for me and i wish they hadn't. I've been to the dealership 3 times since i've had it and i only have 7,000 miles on it. Both back tail lights went out. MY Trac Light go off everytime i hit the slightest bump. Oh and stopping in the snow or rain is a joke. It feels like it won't stop and thats just scary.
It's Alright
At first glance this car caught my attention. Sporty inexpensive and fuel economic! This car drives smooth. Power is OK. Exterior is OK as well but overall this car was a great purchase. And yes the cup holders were a bad idea!

Why I ove my car.....not
I have had no problems this month yet. When I first got it back in May there was bubbling in the paint and had to have the whole car repainted. The back lights in the car tend to go out every month or so. Something about the bulb melts to the socket. I'm not lyeing....
lemon yellow lemon
I bought this car new in 2003 and thought it would be a good car for my needs. I had it in for repairs 5 times under warranty and count fewer times since. Now it has headlight problems and turn signal light on passenger side blows out every 2 to 3 weeks. I would never buy a GM car again!
Cheap Fun
This car is affordable and fun to drive! It is exactly what I was looking for. It is really cute too! The new Ecotec four-cylinder is fast- for a four cylinder. (16 sec in 1/4 mile.)
read this:)
i bought this car in june and its been great since then. ive put 5k on it since then with no problems. engine is quiet but sounds healthy, and is surpringly powerful for a 4cyl. everyone seems to have gotten a good deal on their cavi's, im paying 18k including interest.. i got shafted and the car is def not worth that much! i get good gas mileage. sometimes feel that the interior was very cheaply made- like the interior door paneling is going to fall off when someone shuts the door. the heat gets VERY hot but when you turn it off its too cold..
Excellent First New Car
I bought this car new inspite of what my parents have told me for 9,999 and added underbody spray, interior protectent at that time This car used to get 23-25 mpg but after my standered $200 dollars modifications to any car I get My mpg in city driveing went to 30mpg and 28 with the ac on! I have Royal Purple 5w20 engine oil, Royal purple trany oil. K&N stock air filter, Iridium spark plugs, and I pulled out the power robbing bong connected to the air box in the front left fender wall. Dynoed the car too. stock 153hp 156tq after mods: 173hp 180tq. Got a ram air hood too. 20k comming up soon great ride for my first new car.
AWESOME CAR.
I LOVE THIS CAR IT HAS EVERTHING THAT I WANT. AWESOME ON FUEL. REALIABLE. I WILL NOT STOP BUY CHEVY PRODUCTS. I'VE HAD SEVERAL CHEVYS AND I HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM AT ALL.I GOT A GREAT DEAL ON IT TOO.ESPECAIALLY WITH THE AWESOME REBATES THEY HAVE NOW.
Good value car
It's no Lexus, but it's a pretty good car for the price I paid 10K. Came with automatic tranny, sunroof, rear spoiler and cd player. Has pretty good ups for a 4 cylinder, and very firm brakes. Only problem I had was a burnt out right brakelight, which was covered by warranty and fixed in 15 minutes. Very good car when compared to the similiarly priced Hyundai Accent and Kia.
2003 Cavalier
This car as been fun to own and drive. It is comfortable for long trips and really good on gas. It runs great and the only issue I've had is the rear turn signal lights which I believe was fixed with new circuit boards.
