Best car on the road but more

I love this car it is my dream car. Ever since I saw it in the previews for Transformers. Once I got my own it was amazing the looks you get the feel it gives you. I want to add to it but it s got everything so I wouldn't know where to start.I like the way it handle but I still haven't used the manual shifters on the steering wheel. My only problem is the handling on turns. But it may be my lead foot.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro - Not so good

This car has been a nightmare. We drove it home from the dealer on May 28th. 1 month later it was back as the passenger side airbag sensor had to be replaced. One week after that it was back again the passenger seat belt had to be repaired as it did not register and caused the chime to go off. The final blow was when I picked it up and the antennae no longer works. No XM Radio and after several calls to the dealer and now GM it has been 2 months and they cannot find the parts and tell us to do whatever we have to do! New car and no radio. What happened to GM? I had a Camaro and a Corvette so I have been dedicated to Chevrolet and GM. Not anymore!

I've owned my Camaro for a year now and am VERY happy with it. No problems at all. Runs great, looks fantastic, fun to drive. I'm seeing more and more Camaros on the road, but I still get comments in the parking lot or at the gas pump. I've had no trouble with the paint, the finish is fine.

My husband bought my Camaro for my birthday. (no ladies - you CANNOT have him!) I have had it for one year, and living in Western New York means I can only drive it 7 months out of the year. But during those months it is my "every day driver." I get lots of thumbs up, or people mouthing "nice car" to me as I'm driving. My husband says I'm the "coolest, hottest Gramma in town". I'm 54 and love every minute I'm in this car.

It's now been 6 months and 11,000 miles since I purchased my silver Camaro. I still get loads of stares and complements, I feel like a celebrity. Still getting about 24 mpg with a mix of city/highway driving. Handling/ride is pleasant over smooth surfaces but becomes unsettled and even jarring on rough surfaces (it feels as though the rear axle is breaking in two). The windshield began cracking for no apparent reason and the dealer replaced it at no charge under warranty. The paint continues to chip/nick very easily especially on the front end (an aftermarket bodyshop told me automakers are using a less durable/more environmental friendly paint. Radio plate sometimes fogs up from humidity.

I got Bumblebee for my 40th birthday. Yes my husband is amazing! It was a display car, they showed it in several places around Atlanta. I love love love this car! I am 4'11" and thought I wouldn't be comfortable in it, WRONG! It is amazing. I am used to seat belts being uncomfortable, so I have learned how to live with that. I have had more people stop me and tell me how awesome it is! It is fast and pretty comfortable to me. I have no regrets! I have seen the complaints about the paint, I have had no troubles. Saw the complaints about the leg room and trunk opening, it is not meant to be a family car! I love the reactions that I get from kids, they think it is the real Bumblebee!

I fell in love with this car. Running wonderful, no issues, however, I am beginning to question the Pirelli tires. Front right feels like its flat or I am driving on a washboard, or that it has a flat spot; most pronounced in morning, dealer found nothing. Am taking it back to dealer yet again tomorrow,to keep until they fix it or replace the tire.

I love the car, only one problem so far and it was a strange one. Seems that a bird hit the front and passed through the large gaps. It then got wedged out of sight. I only noticed something was wrong after a couple of days and garage was stinking. I'm looking at getting a modified grill mesh type so I don't have to go through that again. Drove it down pacific coast hwy and it truly was an awesome ride.

Clunking noise in the front

I've had my car to a Chevy dealership twice for this noise. The first time a sway bar link was replaced in the back. Still had the clunking noise, sounded like it was bottoming out. Went back a second time because it was in the front now and was told it was the bump stops doing there job. Still making noise but had a trusted technician ride with me to listen to it. He did figure it out. Can't believe it was only a small stone that got wedged in the front spring. No more clunking noise!

Well I've had my camaro for over a year now and I have to say I love it. Fun to drive, good gas mileage,a real head turner.I have the RS LT2 Automatic. Love the Bluetooth for phone w/voice activation. You can pair your cell phone to make calls and play your music wireless. There is also Aux input jack as well as a USB input. I have the 6 speed auto with the tap shift. Not very fun. If you put the trans in manual mode but don't activate the tap shift the trans will be in sport mode, it should say S where it displays what gear your in. It will say M+gear# if you activate the tap shift. Trans will redline with a firm shift. Much more fun to drive.

This is my 5th Camaro that I have owned. My first 5 th gen and I got to tell you that Chevrolet really upped the comfort and ride level. This is a more cushy and quieter ride than any of my previous Camaros. ( I’ve had 2 2nd gen, 1 3rd gen and 1 4th gen) This is my first SS and I love the power and maneuver ability of the car. Overall, I am completely satisfied and over the moon happy with my car.

This is essentially a 2 seater. It is not for a family. If you are buying it for what it is then you will absolutely love it. 9 years old and 55k miles and the only issue I have had out of warranty and unexpected was the HID driver bulb taking on water. This is not cheap to replace, but that is the only issue I have had. I have been a family man for 20 years and we were finally in a place where I could have my own car. Just something for me to drive and man does it feel good driving this. I average slightly above 24 mpg due to the fact that I can cruise on the highway at 1400 rpm in 6th gear. Car looks great and has been getting compliments since I bought it.

I've had my 2010 Camaro 2SS now for seven years. Even at 13 years old, it's a real head turner. No matter where I drive it, this beauty never fails to garner a compliment. But not only is it a great looking car, it performs well. It is scary fast when you want it to be but if you are easy on the gas pedal it can be suprisingly fuel efficient. During the 50,000 miles I've put on it, outside of routine maintenance, I've not had a single problem. Visibility, as mentioned by others, isn't the greatest but was something I quickly got accustomed to. The front air dam hangs low enough that the driver needs to be aware of parking curbs. Overall, it's been the best car I've owned.

Ordered my SS in March, picked it up in June. The car is more than I thought it would be. Shifting is great, power is terrific, handling is fun. It's a very easy-to-drive car. You can putt-around in a school zone, or smoke everyone else on the highways, and I have the 6 speed manual... I look forward to driving. My gas mileage is now holding right at 19 city which is really good considering it's 6.2 liters and 426horses. I'm running on a local drag strip next month, so I can 'legally' open it up. I've gotten up to 125mph, but ran out of road. My kids have named the car Decepticon "Wiplash" I asked,"Why not an AutoBot". They say it looks way too mean......

I have owned my new 2ss camaro for 30 days it has spent about 10 days in the shop and is back for another visit. I love the looks and performance when it runs. I’m already having major transmission trouble and GM (The New GM) is as bad as ever when it comes to costumer service. I had a issue once with a Toyota 4- runner and they let me go and get another 4-runner and did not charge me a dime. I wish Toyota had a car that look like the Camaro because I know it would have been built right.

I've owned my Camaro 2LT for 6 months now and is still fun to drive and I never get tired of looking at it. When first driving this Camaro, it is extremely important to adjust all mirrors accordingly and mind the blind spots. The forward blind spots are especially nasty when driving in a parking lot full of crossing pedestrians. Other than that, this baby is a blast!

This car is good for it's value since it's a sports coupe packing over 300hp.But even a ww2 german bunker it easier to see out of.And the rear seats are essentially not useful to any adult's due to the lack of head room. But if u are in the market looking for something fast or something catchy u could tune up this bad boy to up to over 550hp to make it more fun than it is.It's can also be a daily driver if u intend it to be.

Uncomfortable Camaro!

Car is uncomfortable, no lumbar support, blind spots, doors and trunk needs realigned. Car hurts me to drive, car sets to low on ground, satellite radio fades in and out to much. I contacted general motors about trading vehicle back and they told they could help me even though they had a previous commercial telling the consumer that if you were not 100% satisfied they would buy it back. These were the words from the CEO. I called them on that and they told me it had a expiration date and of course it was expired. So now I am stuck with a uncomfortable car that hurts me to drive and is dangerous because of the blind spots !

I wanted a Camaro for years & when the new style came out I waited. Got it and returned it within 24 hours. The rearview mirror was in my eyesight. I am short but the seat was all the way up or otherwise I could not have seen over the hood. I was not allowed to drive it off the lot (safety reasons supposedly). I drove it in the parking lot. Maybe if I'd driven it around a bit I would have known. Loved the feel of it. Nice interior, seats were comfortable. Blindspots left & right which made me very nervous. Why drive it if I feel unsafe? When I realized what little headroom I got more nervous. Want to be safe in the traffic I'm in. First day of having it, got a ticket with four others.

Overall is pretty good but since I also own both 2009 M3 and 2008 M5 then I'm thinking to get rid of this Camaro since I don't think this is one of the true sport car out there you can find. For those who loves this very much I suggest you go test at least the ISF, M3 or C63 before driving the Camaro. I'm sure you will find something is missing from this American brand. Never buy the V6 because 300 HP is not something new anymore in today's market, a G37s can easily blow you away. For V8, just get the manual one coz the automatic version has less HP for fuel economy purpose but it doesn't save much at all for long term.

It has features even my Avalon didn't have and I thought that was loaded. Get's lots of 2nd looks from passing vehicles. Think I'll keep it. It's the first sports car I've ever owned.

Camaro has always been my favorite car since I was a kid. This is my third Camaro and it really fulfills my ideas of what a pony car should aspire to be. Have you ever tried on a glove that doesn't fit well? Driving this car is like putting on a tailor made glove. The whole driving experience from the steering to acceleration to the braking, makes you feel like the greatest driver in the world. I feel like you get a lot for your money.

I purchased a new camaro 2lt with the rs package about a month or so ago. The car is black on black and boy let me tell you: wow! This car is absolutely amazing. The exterior and interior styling is gorgeous, the performance and powertrain is awesome, and the build quality is excellent. I drove the ss package and it was too fast, especially for my wife LOL, so we decided to go with the 304 hp v6. The v6 powerplant w/6-speed auto is powerful, smooth and fuel efficient. A recent road trip from Houston to San Antonio to Austin yielded almost 26 mpg overall (not driving the speed limit of course!) it's amazing all of the people who stare and give you thumbs up with this car. Good job gm!

Sinse I purchased this 2010 camaro the paint is chipping away in front if the rear tires. I talked to a dealer about this and was told that they, meaning Chevrolet knows this was a problem and was not going to do anything about it. I called customer assistance and reported my problem. I was given a ref # and they would get back to me the next day. I must say my car is red with ground effects, now it's red with white spots down booth sides. I am embarrassed too show the car to anyone. thanks Chevrolet you let America down. Michael R. Sackett

I must have owned 10 camaro's in my lifetime and am so disappointed with what Chevy built. I know they were dealing with heavy financial issues and competing with Ford and Dodge, but they should have taken more time to do it right. The front end is way cool, but that's it. Almost looks like to replicated a 67/68 Quarter Panel and used the rear roof line off a Cadillac CTS and squished it with a corvette rear bumper. The 2011 convertible is even worse. There is a drop in the quarter panel right after the door and simply looks terrible.

Getting a 2010 SS over newer used models seems the best value. I would seek a one owner with little to no modifications. I think a manual (over an automatic) is a must as your buying the SS for a fun driver....it is a sportscar! It has poor visibility but hardly an issue after driving it for a week. Not a fan of the RS cosmetics but I think the 2SS features are a must. I'm 6'2 and the headroom is fine. I heard it wouldn't be with a sunroof, and they look better without and your interior will stay cleaner. The internet forum, Camaro5, is a great place for more research before or after purchasing. I you are a DIY'er, you will want to invest in a long reach low profile jack, lots of detailing stuff, and a paint chip repair kit (it seems to have weak paint). I own a Silver Ice Metallic with black stripes. Not too flashy but everyone will take a second look for sure so if you're a nose picker, change your habits!!
