Love My Truck
This is without a doubt the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. I work at a Chevy dealership, so I see and drive lots of vehicles. With the exception of the new body style Avalanche, this is my favorite Chevy truck. The gas mileage is 15-17 mpg depending on how you drive it. It takes less than 2 minutes to convert it into truck mode. The re-sale value on these vehicles is great too. NADA loves em'. Ride quality is great. Good power. Better than an SUV with back seat room and its hidden under the plastic cover. It keeps my wife and baby's junk hidden all the time.
I love my new Avalanche
I knew the second I started the engine and pulled away from the dealership that this was the truck for me. It is so stylish and eyecatching. Big, beautiful and red. It is so quiet and comfortable I can not say enough nice things about it, only one negative, it seems so wide and hard to parrellel park. I can not wait to take it out on a long haul with my horses attached and finally feel some comfort with style.
Best truck ever
From daily driving to camping, atving, snowmobiling, RV pulling, grocery runs, hardware, and landscaping hauling. The kids love the rear seat DVD player, and the wife likes the heated seats in the winter. My favorite is the OnStar that now allows me to contact my wife as soon as I get back to the truck after a day snowmobiling instead of an hour later when I get within cell range.
Need some inprovements
The vehicle is a good riding vehicle Very comfortable to drive. Have had several problems with vehicle. Need something to tell you when the tail gate is down maybe a light on the dash. Very hard to see to the rear of the vehicle
Good Truck
Very good ride. The gas millage leaves a little bit to be desired. Overall an excellant truck to own and drive
You truly can’t hate this truck
I looked forever to find my avalanche, I was extremely lucky to be able to find an 06, in Bermuda blue, without the cladding. The avalanche rides about as good as a Malibu, and the vortec 5300 gives you all the power you could ever want. Heavily customizable for camping, to off-roading to anything in between, the avalanche has something for everyone. From a comfy and roomy 6 seater to an 8 foot bed hauler than carries your tools and anything else you could imagine. I love my avalanche, gm truly hit it out of the park!

Comfort fo Handicap (Avalanche)
I could not believe how comfortable this vehicle was. I've had several hip replacements done and I must say the comfort and handling is the best I've had.
With 75000 miles on it this is a true ev
Mine is a 2002 with 75210 miles on it. I have owned it since new and love this truck just as much as the day I bought it. I have taken several extended trips in it and will not buy anything other than an Avalanche for as long as Chevrolet makes them.
Happy Happy Happy
This is my second Avalanche, I put 7200 miles on the first one and never had a problem. Great truck
Perfect Truck for me
After about a month of research debating between a full size truck (Tundra or Titan) and an SUV (Xterra) I decided that neither met my needs. The Avalanche not only looks great, but it is powerful, smooth, quiet and fun! I was able to find the exact truck I was looking for (No body cladding, Z-71, with 4.10 gears) This truck is the perfect combination of fun and practicality. I have already hauled my motorcycle in this truck and I plan on camping and using it for a lot of outdoor activity. I highly recomend this truck to anyone deciding between and truck and SUV.
