Used 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche Crew Cab Consumer Reviews
Excellent Choice
I never in my life thought that I would purchase a truck. I saw the commercial on TV, "change for a dollar" and I just had to go and check it out. I took it for a test drive and decided that it was the one for me.
My Cool Truck oops SUV
Love the Avalanche. Have had it since March this year. Regularly convert it for large items from Home Depot! Going camping often...its just great.

I like it!
This truck is great, period. If you're not sure if you might like it, go drive a club cab truck with an itty bitty bed and cramped rear seats, or a mini van and then go look at one of these. No doubt if you can afford it, you'll buy it. This truck has it all. Roomy, comfortable, and an 8' bed! Driving it with my ripped jeans on, no shirt, and a load of building materials I feel like a rough N tough carpenter. Put on my tie and head to work, I feel like I'm driving in a caddy. I have never had a car or truck I have enjoyed so much, REALLY!
Great vehicle
Very good overall. I do have a clunking sound in the front that the dealer has yet to find.
The Beaste
What to say... When I forst saw the previews in '99 I was impressed. Now that I'm an owner, I'm even more impressed. Vary little body role, great get up and go, I get anywhere from 18-21 MPG pretty regularly. Though I have to say I have made some modifications. Not only is it a big vehical it drives like one. Parking is no problem. I'm used to larger trucks. the only area I have a problem with is being able to see out the rear end. It has its challenges. Overall, best bang for the buck. Most versitle truck I have ever owned and I've owned many.
