If it could go wrong, it did. Sometimes it would start, and other times it wouldn’t. The brakes squealed so loudly, it was deafening. The side steps would get stuck out, and would make an awful mechanical noise the entire time you drove. One time the side steps tried to fold back in while my 9 year old was standing on it, and it almost crushed her leg!! The entire screen would go blank while driving. It would constantly tell me a “phone couldn’t be connected” even if I had a Bluetooth connection. The whole car shook if going over 70 on the highway. The infotainment system was SUCH a pain to use. It was antiquated, and having to swipe enforced every single thing made no sense…. Traded it in for a new Tahoe, and so far, it’s been such a blessing to get rid of it! I do feel bad for whoever purchases my old Escalade next, however. 🤦‍♀️

My Cadillac Escalade Platinum is the best SUV I’ve purchased ever! Is super smooth on the road and very quiet, it really show luxury from suede all in the interior to the 3 dvd screens and the very clear quality sound from the speakers. If you’re looking for luxury, smooth, quality, safe SUV then the Cadillac Escalade is the one to get!

2017 Escalade review

Beautiful SUV but am very disappointed in the ride. With 68k miles on it, the rear shocks are gone and the front end struts and shocks are gone as well. It'll take $6k to get these replaced. Back hatch stopped opening now have to open it manually. The hood paint is dull, clear coat is gone and will need to re-paint it or purchase another hood.

4 blown engines and years of constant issues

I bought my first 2016 Escalade in 2018. It had about 30k miles on it and I was under the moon excited. I had just gotten rid of my 10 year old Tahoe and finally bought myself something nice. The problems started immediately. The back seats shaking and vibrating, the transmission jerking when shifting gears, the CUE system not working correctly, the rear entertainment system not working… etc… over the next 4 years these issues were constant…then one day my engine blew… 100k miles on it and it needs an entirely new one. But I loved my car (when I got to drive it) so I got it a new one and thought she’s going to be good as new. While waiting the 6 months for the engine (Covid) I bought another used one. Same year just a different color. A couple friends of mine had the same car and never had issues so I figured mine was just a bad egg and I would sell it with the new engine once I got it back. After buying the 2bd one the used car dealership tells me that it needs its engine rebuilt… are you kidding me? They gave me a crazy deal on it so I figured she should be good as new right? So I took it… fast forward to Oct 2024… the engine that was completely replaced by GM goes out again less than 2 years later… one month later the rebuilt one goes out as well! GM repaired the one they replaced… the other one the used dealer took no responsibility for. I sold it for parts. I still have the other one… if you’re thinking of buying this car I wouldn’t buy if you gotta have it I got one for sale lol
