Quality GM Product
I knew when I purchased this vehicle that the gas mileage wasn’t great, but I only drive 3500 miles yearly so it doesn’t really matter. The big reason for this purchase was the design and comfort of the vehicle. The overall handling, steering, braking and electronic features are excellent. It has been a very good experience owning this Buick.

Eye-Catching Complement-Fetching Presence!
I almost could not recommend this car enough. Its rakishly-elegant appearance gives an impressive presence, it pretty much always stands out in a crowd, and I am frequently complemented for it. The interior is also by far the most comfortable of the cars I've owned. I had to travel in it 22 hours across America in the span of two days (11 hours a day), and I STILL found the car comfortable after all that! With the 304 HP V6 the car feels quite powerful and will tear up the road a little if you floor it from a stop. Even on single-lane highways I can pass up to eight cars in several seconds--starting from 60 MPH. Some cons I've noticed: 1. Occasionally the cruise will not come on for me. I find this happens up to three times on long trips, but thankfully the bug usually disappears after 5 minuets or so and it works again. Have not looked into it yet. 2. As many have noted, steering is numb and extremely sensitive, but you get used to it. 3. Breaking is a little mushy, but again, you get used to it. 4. Infotainment system can be a little slow in responding at times, though still fairly good generally. 5. My biggest complaint is the small trunk, which, as a heavy packer, doesn't suit my lifestyle. In short and overall, my quibbles are small, and the car more than compensates for these little eccentricities. A beautiful, powerful, comfortable, and reliable machine that I would highly recommend!

Smoooooth!
Purchased a slightly used (6500mi) from a dealer. Wife needs a car with good back support and adjustments. I hesitate to write this review as I'm somewhat superstitious, but, we love the Lacrosse! Quiet, smooth ride, decent acceleration for a hybrid. The interior is gorgeous and the change lane warning system is awesome! Now have 45,000 mi and my wife commutes a few days a week, 60 mi round trip. We have regular maintenance (oil changes, balancing) at our great dealership. I'm guessing we'll be driving this beauty for another 8 years. Why take a chance on something else when this is soooo good? UPDATE: This is our second Lacrosse (2015) first 2012. It had 5600 miles on it when we purchased it. Currently, 67,000 miles. It has the e assist which enables us to get 29. MPG in our mostly highway driving. It's not the fastest horse out of the gate, but I'll track dependability over speed any day. In the previous 20 years, I owned 5 Park Avenues. Every single Buick has been superb. The ride is super smooth and quiet. Aside from regular oil changes and tire rotation, the Lacrosse has been awesome. Still looks like new! I will admit, it took a bit of getting used to the blind spots on the '12, but the '15 enjoys the blind spot warning, which We love. We think about trading, but why give up a good thing to gain a newer vehicle. If you can find a low mileage one, buy it!
