The Buick Ride
Before buying the envision, my wife and I have had a couple of enclaves, and my daughter has an 2019 encore. The only difference I could find in an envision between a basic and preferred models are the all weather floor mats and the placard on the rear lift gate. Pretty much the same car. With a shorter wheelbase, it rides a little rougher than the enclave, (although not as touchy as the encore) and is less roomy inside. It’s easier to see out of, and handles like a dream. Parking is much easier than trying to park the massive enclave. I’ve test drove the comparable SUV models in other brands, but none have the Buick ride and quiet. Very pleased with the envision.

Love It!!
Like the other buyers we love the car. Took it on a road trip the day after we bought it. 2500 miles. Very comfortable, quiet ride. So many features we will have to study the manual to see what all it offers. Not sure why edmunds says its not fun to drive. Its not a sports car.

Perfect for us
We looked for months for an affordable AWD vehicle that had the safety technology we wanted, had plenty of power and a smooth, quiet ride. Though Buick was never on our radar and we had never heard of the Envision, we test drove one and were hooked. We purchased an Envision Premium which had everything we weren't going to do without plus a Bose sound system that we really wanted. We love the power of the 2.0 turbo. Other vehicles may have better reviews from the "experts" but the best choice is always the one that fits a person's wants and needs. The Envision is perfect for us.

Luxury That Anyone Can Afford
The Buick Envision all Luxury but priced so that just about anyone can afford it. It comes in a preferred pkg which I purchased and had a lot of options at a affordable price and other options at higher prices for people who want the higher end Bells and Whistles. Powerful get up and go, comfort to the max, heated seats, navigation, and very roomy.

Wife loves it!
My wife's previous vehicle was the GMC Acadia. She liked it, but it was just on the edge of being a little too big for her. The Envision is just the right size for her. The turbo and 9 speed really work well together and the shifts are barely detectible. Believe it or not, the mileage on the bigger Acadia was incredible...35 m.p.g. on the road. The Envision with AWD gets 26. But it's worth it because she is so much more comfortable driving it.

Chilli Red Buick
Purchased a 2020 Buick Envision. Love the car. Great to Park has all the safety features. Has lots of room for 5 adults. Rides really smooth. Test drive one and found out how much you will like one.
Last/final GM bulletproof vehicle. Order one soon.
2020 Buick Envision is the last and final GM vehicle with the standard 2.5L I4 and 6-speed auto, which is rated very high in reliability by Consumer Reports, and the last and final GM vehicle that is expected to rate high on JD Power's 5-year dependability study. It will be terribly missed when we move on to disposable, less-reliable 3-cylinder turbo vehicles, and up to 12-speed auto transmission soon in the future, with much less weight and thinner-grade on steel quality that can easily bend, melt, and warp after only short 100,000 miles. More MPG = Less Durable, actually. Toyota and Honda are hurting badly too because of this.
super nice

Envision-ing a long future together
When the envision first came out I took one for a test drive and immediately fell in love with it. I couldn’t afford one at the time, but knew I wanted one. Fast forward to the height of the pandemic (when the lord were overflowing with cars) and I was able to get an amazing deal on one! I love love love my envision. It’s been on 3 road trips so far (as far at Michigan from Oklahoma) and many many local runs. The car is so comfortable (it’s a Buick!) and surprisingly good on gas. No problems since I’ve had it (I’m at about 12,000 miles as of this writing) and I’ve got a few compliments while I’ve been out and about!

Nice little SUV
We bought a 2020 Envision Preferred in August 2020. We did not get the AWD version because we just don’t need it. Currently has 29,000 miles on it. We looked at every small SUV available and were driving a 13 Ford Escape. I had told my wife when I retired she could pick out a new car. After driving them all (Honda, Toyota, Jeep, Chevy, etc) she feel in love with the Envision. We bought the Preferred trim package because I wanted the tried and true 2.5 engine and 6 speed tranny. It’s plenty peppy enough for us. We’ve taken it on 3 1000 mile plus road trips and averaged just a hair under 30 on all of them. Plenty pleased with that! We did get the leather interior, and heated front and back seats, and power seats. And the navigation package. It came with all-weather floor mats as well. We fit right in Buick marketing’s wheelhouse as far as demographics, and no matter that some say it’s a boring brand, I like boring and quiet and a smooth ride and just enough tech to matter. The only complaint I have is that I wish Buick would make them in the USA.

Love my 2020 Envision!
Love the soft Buick ride and comfort. I previously had an Encore and was concerned the Envision would not have the same nimble handling. I was pleasantly surprised. The 2.0 Turbo has significantly more get up and go than my Encore. However, along with these improvements comes lower gas mileage. I bought the Premium ll in part for all of the safety options. The reality is my 67 year old brain will need to take some time to become comfortable with using these options. I’ve had my Envision for about one month and couldn’t be happier with my decision! I love the luxury!

Still a Buick Fan
I have owned 4 Park Avenues, and two Lacrosses over 40 years. Never had a major problem with any of them. The Envision is a very nice addition to the Buick family. We traded our 2015 Lacrosse with 60,000 mi. in 2023. (Big mistake. I think I could have driven it another 100,000 mi but wife wanted a small SUV. I drive a 2014 Murano, another wonderful vehicle BTW. 80,000 mi and only major repair was all the brakes after 75,000. Anyway, I digress. We bought our 2020 with 30,000 miles. Has 35,000 now. We love this vehicle. Admittedly it's not a Park Ave or Lacrosse, but it rides great, it's quiet, has plenty of power (we have the turbo), seats are very comfortable, great sound system, love the armrest storage, blind spot mirror warning, etc etc, Very happy with it! In town gas mileage not the greatest...17-20 but not an issue. I love that the seats vibrate a warning when too close, or something in blind spot. It'll scare you at first, but is a wonderful feature, especially for a guy who is hearing impaired. Collision avoidance program works very nicely, and you can can adjust the sensitivity and features very easily. So far, so good. We're very happy with our new, smaller, SUV.

Still Loving my Envision!
I love everything about my 2020 Envision. I love the Blind Spot Warning System, the heated steering wheel, the heated seats, the dual heating/cooling controls, the backup camera and , Blind Side Warning and being able to crank it remotely. But I would like it even better if it had Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning.

Mini Buick luxury
Our 2020 Buick Envision is a great car, but as with most reviews I have read, it is a bit small for a midsize SUV. It's a compact size at best. We also have a 2016 GMC Terrain which was at the time the smallest SUV that GMC manufactured, but it's higher than the Envision with much more cargo space. The auto stop is a joke, and I won't buy another GM car that has it. Luckily, you can bypass the auto stop by simply hitting a dashboard switch to shut it off. Lastly, the car is assembled in China, much to my dismay. Next time American all the way if that's possible anymore. The good things: Fairly good gas mileage with the 2.5 Liter 4 cylinder, averaging 27 MPG. The tires are 19 inch giving you that smooth Buick ride. Being small, it goes exactly where you point it and is the easiest car to drive that we have ever owned. Fit and finish are good, and the car is beautiful for an SUV.
