Overpriced and poorly designed features
I've owned over 50 cars in my life. This was my first BMW and likely my last. It replaced a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit, and for a lot more money, provided fewer features and lower build quality. The diesel powertrain is remarkable, however. Unfortunately, the powertrain, which is my vehicle's saving grace, has been discontinued. My problems include an adaptive cruise control system that does not work well and cannot be disabled and run in manual mode (unlike the Jeep), squeaks and rattles that two separate dealers have been unable to resolve, lack of compatibility with Android Auto (unlike the Jeep), automatic climate control that apparently has only a manual fan function, and other miscellaneous annoyances. Also, you would think a vehicle that claims to be the "ultimate driving machine" would not be quite so ponderous on the road, even in Sport mode. Not impressed.

Love it!
A driver's SUV! If you enjoy driving a great car and hauling your family around while doing it, this is the SUV for you. We have owned it for 3 years now and it still drives as if it was brand new. We absolutely love ours!
