bmw x5 2021, terible front seats

There are two stitch lines along the back of the lower shoulder area, which makes sitting on the seat very uncomfortable. the stitch lines are higher than the chair's surface, which makes it against your back while you lay your back on it. It's a terrible design. I went to the dealership and asked to fix it, they said that is the way it was designed, and even if I change to a new chair that will be the same. I would never buy this car again.

Promise I’m sober

Midlife crisis but kids aren’t grown yet?, 09/11/2024

This thing is an absolute blast. I picked up an 8k mile same model year used one and saved $35,000, going to be repeating that process for sure. Maybe a lease but even my model S cowering in fear of Elon tweeting a price drop didn’t depreciate that fast. Main thing is it’s bonkers fast and still a grocery getter. Shoved off the line but then it’s so linear it’s like falling off a cliff and it never stops until you run out of nerve, not road because it’ll stop like the first wire on the flight deck. Got rid of my corvette because this is as much fun and I can haul the kids to go check cows—and fits ten 50lb feed bags in cargo bay with the seats up just fine. Downside is 7k miles out of 4 tires. $2,300. Fulltime AWD means eats all four tires. Driving style so I’ll own it, more irritated that they’re custom order so plan ahead because it’ll be a week or more. Oh and they suck in the rain but the traction control is great so you’ll get used to it. Speaking of tires: they are no profile. They’re so wide potholes are fine but they don’t fit on the crown so constantly swerving around the highway, I don’t even drink but must look that way. Ride is relatively rough but on par for the sports car it really is and if it’s too bad save an X3’s cost and get one of the regular X5’s.
