Fun to Drive
The ride is smooth. However in sport plus on regular streets will snap you back a bit. The exterior styling is great and you will get looks and comments. Not a true M Car but the M40i makes more sense for a daily driver. X4 M40i and X4M 0-60 times are too close to justify paying $10,000 more for the privilege of driving an M car

The Swiss Army Knife of Cars!
I was looking for a mid-sized vehicle that drives more like a car with 'some' of the practicality and utility of an SUV. This 'SAV' sports activity vehicle is phenomenal to drive (M40i engine) with excellent handling and close to sedan like feel. No, it doesn't drive like a pure sedan, but it's closer to a sedan than anything with 8" of ground clearance. And it handles 10 times better than any SUV you've driven. With the M40i engine, it's ridiculously fast and can corner much better than you'd expect. The tech in the car is fantastic and works very well. Seats are comfortable, cabin is quiet. Watch any of the Video reviews and they all praise the driving characteristics and technology in the car. Think 5 series on stilts. The biggest knock against the X4 is the 'coupe' like design and how it reduces headroom in the rear seats and storage. It's a design you either love or hate. I love the design and it's become more and more common. A teenager in my neighborhood said, "That looks cool!" Look at the new Tesla Model Y, it has a similar roof line. For those who complain about lack of Android Auto, that's coming this summer and yes it has Apple CarPlay. The absolute coolest feature is Spotify built into the car. You stream from the car, not from your phone. It's very cool (and you can choose any of your playlists and songs via the main 10" screen or even through the Head Up Display. The X4 does not try to be the perfect sedan or perfect SUV. It sits squarely in the middle but was exactly what I was looking for.

Great ride
We had an 2014 x3. It was time to get a new car and we decided on a new x4. This suv is amazing. Every thing about it says "nice". Enough power, beautiful interior and just the right amenities.

Mama’s new grocery getter with pizazz
My wife wanted something roomy and practical that doesn’t look like everybody else’s Mom SUV. We’ve had two BMWs and a Mercedes. We drove the X3, which had a great, familiar feel. The 2022 X4 is a step up - a beefier, heavier ride. Fair amount of room in the back seat and hatch. Nice high-end interior with a big infotainment system. We are very happy with it. Even prettier in person, get a better sense of it being an SUV.

Cross over to a beauty
I leased this car by accident. I returned my Leased BMW 5 series and I really didn’t want a car so close to the ground, BMW didn’t have the X6 in stock and I didn’t want anything else. So, the salesman tried his best to make me happy by presenting a white x4 with red interior, which wasn’t on the lease car list. I was so excited when I saw the car and to my surprise I left that day with the x4. Three years later I just couldn’t part from it, such a beautiful car and the ride and functionality of the car is top notch… I just had to purchase it! Let me tell you, the least to purchase went so well that BMW will always have my business… they have the power and the etiquette to make their customers happy, and I appreciate their dedication and professionalism.
