Used 2019 BMW X1 SUV Consumer Reviews
Not impressed at all!
I "upgraded" from a Jeep Cherokee to brand new X1 lease but after 18months of use, I am not impressed and not happy at all. You expect a better engine with some performance, the engine is still better than my 2015 Jeep but not by much. Jeep had better materials, at least everything you touched felt expensive and that's not the case for X1. I am also getting cracking noises from the back seats, since the seats are multi position the mechanism is rattling and service is useless. They will be nice and have a look at it for a day or so but never ever fixed an issue with noise so far. My GF has a Chevy cruse and that thing is much smoother in terms of noises. On top this car has absolutely no technology. Small screen with no navigation. I have 2 BMWs and it is really discouraging to see that competition closed the gap with the engine and ahead of BMW at least 10years in terms of infotainment technology. This was not the case when I got my first brand new BMW at 2006. Now I am really waiting for my lease to end to get a Tesla or back to Jeep if I want to go cheap. Update: 6/3/2020: Still same issues and this car is not worth to own it, as soon as my lease ends I am switching to a Tesla, done with really fragile stuff that barely works. Update: 12/06/2020: after driving X3 and getting a really good deal on it, I still decided to go ahead and order Tesla Model Y. I still don’t think BMW has enough technology in terms of entertainment and self driving and electrification... so I will not be happy with a 2l engine and older looking vehicle...

BMW Sports Car, Not little SUV
Amazing! My favorite car ever--first BMW, now forever a fan. Owned a new RX7 rotary and preowned Lexus SC400; just not the same. It's so nice when things just work right! Not luxury for comfort's sake, a Good car in every aspect is luxurious! So sensitive! Touch the gas any speed, you immediately go faster. Touch the brakes, you're going slower! They deserve their motto, after a couple weeks. Driving is Fun again! 31.8 mpg highway right now.

Nice
I drove this car for 2 hours and enjoyed it for the most part. Had really nice features. Smooth ride. The brakes were very sensitive but I think that is something that can be fixed by the dealer. Good car overall.
