Best BMW I've owned 550i M-Sport 2011

I've owned a 2000 740i, 2004 745Li and a 2007 750Li and this 2011 550i is hands down better than any of those 7's. The ride, power, options and comfort are all perfect. The Nappa leather comfort seats are amazing and all the controls are perfectly positioned. The engine and transmission are smooth and powerful. I've installed the Dinan software upgrade and get 495 hp and 573 torque and the car is a rocket in Sport +. This car is worth every penny and the fit and finish of all the materials are top notch. You will not be disappointed in this car.

Best 5 Series EVER!

I have owned 4 BMW 5 series in the last 10 years and this new 5 series, esp. my 550i, is simply the BEST! It may also well be the Best sports sedan on the planet right now! How do I begin? Amazing power and acceleration, amazing handling, amazing ride quality, luxurious and well-crafted/well-designed interior, extremely comfortable seats. Tons of gadgets. Large and hi-res NAV screen. Very cool interior ambient lighting (esp. at night). I highly recommend the Sports Package (with Dynamic Handling)as it really transforms the car and takes it to the next level. Yes, it's quite expensive (esp. with all the options) but it's worth every penny! Life is short, live while you can!

Worst Car ever made!

I loved this car, until I drove it more than 2k miles. Constant oil usage, and in the shop all the time. BMW replaced both turbos (50k in warranty work), BMW had to have the valve seats machined. BMW replaced the battery twice. BMW wouldn't replace the sunroof after it just exploded for no outward reason. The car eats tires due to the weight, you have to actually figure out the weight of the car and buy upgraded tires (about 1k per year) for tires that will only last 1 year. Now after my warranties are over my BMW needs an complete engine replacement. This car devalues faster than I can pay for it. I'm stuck with 16k and it's only worth about 7k on Kelly Blue Book. I'm going to have to part it out and sell the pieces and try to pay it off. BMW will work with you if you buy their extended warranty, the day it expires they will charge you a premium to fix your car. I will never buy another BMW car ever again.

Very fun to drive. Powerful V8 Twin turbo is exhilarating with low end torque. thirsty for gas..better interior upgrade compare with 2010 model.

I had many BMW before this F10, I like the style power and the comfort. The car has a very nice technology package and great sound system but it is short of being the ultimate driving machine any more. Since I got this car I had many problems :power steering pulling to the right, wrong amplifier installed, gear shifter stuck ,needed adding oil to the engine, comfort access had its own mind with lights turns on during day time. after 3 months I traded the car for Japanese Car which has every thing works perfect.
