What a Ride!

I was in the market for a Honda or Toyota product (was leaning towards the Avalon) until I took the wheel of a 2005 BMW 325i. There was just no comparison! The 325i was far superior in drive, ride, and comfort (to say nothing of its sharp look!) to any of the Honda and Toyota products I drove - - and I have great admiration for Honda & Toyota (my previous car was a Toyota). If you want to step up into a whole new realm of driving, do yourself a favor and take a look at the 325i. You'll be glad you did!

Love this car. It has great acceleration and the braking is very quick. The only thing I don't like is lack of storage for things like sunglasses/cell chargers/cd's etc. It needs a center console that is bigger. Gas mileage is o.k. The back seat can be a bit crowded if you want large adults in the back. I have two car seats in the back and it works out perfect.

This car is absolutely fun to drive. The steering is razor sharp and extremely responsive. The suspension is tuned perfectly; right comprise between performance and comfort. The engine sounds like a Me109. Everything in this car comes across as intentional and well thought through. Also, the reviewers who are complaining about more room in the back are missing the point: this is meant to be a coupe, and for a coupe, it has plenty of room in the back and trunk space (compare it with other sports coupes). If you really want more room in the back, be realistic and buy a sedan.

I had a 99 328ic for 5 years and could not part with the BMW convertible experience, thus the 330Ci. Many improvements to an already great vehicle. Glass rear window, seat comfort, cockpit enhancements, xenon lights. Great car to drive!

A lot of my biz associates and friends have bmws. I attributed it to some sort of clubby snobbery, and thought Lexus was "it"--until I drove a 330i with the sports pkg. I could not believe the solid driving feel and bed like cornering ability. I got all the toys and find myself driving just for the joy of driving. This week I drove over some concrete in the road and blew a tire and scratched the wheel. I had the foresight to get the insurance for the wheels. Brought it to dealer- no problems, new everything n/c all computers checked and brakes reconfigured. I am a reformed lexite.

I get that question just about every day. I love my New 3. I had a 2001 322i before I bought the new 2006 model. The new sleek style is great - lots of bells and whistles when you purchase the navigation and other upgraded packages. I love the new dash, the absence of all that trim, the bluetooth technology... I don't particularly care for the cup holders in the front, how easily the material around the gear shift scratches or the four plugged holes in the rar bumper - but overall I enjoy the ride.

Could use a little more power, but handling is excellent and corners like it's own rails. Very smooth and gets decent gas mileage (25 mpg combined @ 70% highway). Fun to drive on rolling hills and winding roads. Not great in snow, but not terrible either (if you know what you're doing). Cup holders aren't that bad. No major problems, but an occasional slight whistle from driver window (I think) and, separately, from climate system. BMW couldn't identify the former and the latter started after warranty expired. Neither occurs often, but a bit annoying when they do. It was in a accident before I bought it though,so all things considered, I'm satisfied. Not perfect, but well-rounded and fun.

What a fun drive. I wouldn't recommend for really long trips (one, I couldn't fit all of my luggage into the car, two gas mileage isn't the best - but then I don't keep it to 55 either) but for zipping around town... no doubt about it. Love getting all the extra attention!

I have owned the car for two months and loved it. The handling is incredible and I love the design of the interior. Mileage has been decent and trunk space is decent, although if you are going to have five individuals in the car, I would recommend looking at the Lexus. But, with four or less passengers, this is the perfect entry level luxery car in my opinion. Finally, this is the first time that I have ever driven a rear wheel drive car and that took a little to get used to at first, especially when stopping quickly. But, the RWD is not a big issue in my opinion.

I've owned several cars over the past 10 years. All were new compacts. I wanted something that could take passengers to lunch for business but was fun to drive, reasonable gas mileage, and was quiet and comfortable for long trips. I got it all in spades with the 325i I bought. I bought a base model which had more features than I wanted. Finding a manual tranny on a 325i is tough. I replaced the wood trim with aluminum and it looks fantastic. I love the sound of the engine, the handling, the intuitive nature of the controls, and everything about this car. I couldn't be happier with my decision.

I can honestly say that driving this car is such an experience that it will even cheer you up when your having a bad day (or so my friends who drive it say). It is a well engineered and designed automobile. Great job BMW!

We bought this car when we were stationed in Germany and it has been absolutely terrific. The brakes are phenomenal at autobahn speed and the engine is silky smooth. Build quality is excellent. The car is very agile and the steering is almost telepathic. We have been extremely pleased at the fuel mileage both in Europe and here in the States. All in all a wonderful car and a joy to drive!

The gas mile meter is not correctly because it depend how fast you are accert your car. I m going to keep this car until the 2008 car model come out. its fun car and attention grabber. Great car for age 18-40.. Save up your money. and wait for the 2008 new design. I loving it right now.

I wanted to make sure that I bought a 2005 before the new model year came out this summer. I really like that style and with the incentives that were given to "move them off the lot", I was able to get a BMW for about 30K. It's the silver with the premium package. Plus with the maintenance thrown in for 4 years, 50 k miles - it was an offer that I just could not refuse. The car is awesome to drive, gas mileage is okay - it would probably be better if I drove it more conservative but then what's the point in driving the ultimate driving machine if you're not going to kick it once in awhile.

This is the best car I have ever had, it has everything sport look, fun to drive and elegant. I love the looks; BMW has every option available so I got em, the Nav system is awsome, so is the on board computer. Speed is a whole other matter, I love it as I pass other people who just stop and stare; quite frankly, if had to do it again I would buy the same car. Don't care how much it cost.

I have owned several cars and this has to be the best. I recently sold my Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe 6MT and bought the 330i with the performance package and 6MT. There is no comparison! The 330i handles better in the rain soaked streets of Arkansas then the Infinti ever thought about on dry pavement. I am not your average driver with several driving schools and driver's training through enforcement. I can tell you the 330i is worth the extra bucks not only for its performance but also the build quality and ergonomics of the interior. The Infiniti, one had to constantly hunt for the desired controls. If you are into driving, the BMW is the car for you!

This is my second 325CiC. Just traded my 2001, 5 speed(M) for 2005 automatic. Best car I have ever owned. Only gripe is the nav system. Free service is great. Typical german build quality. 2001 had a few minor problems but nothing major; BMW covered everything, even a ripped seat seam and cracked wood at 37000 miles. Amazing! Won't be my last assuming they don't go too far out in left field with the styling of this cars replacement. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!

I have always wanted a Bimmer, and could not get the X5, so I settled for the 325I just to get my foot in the door. Now I have no desire for an X5, I love this car! It has great speed, and it also has an incredible smooth ride. I get lots of compliments on it, (because I got Midnight Blue instead of Black or Silver like everyone else). I would tell anyone buying a sports sedan to go with the BMW! Even if it is the smallest engine, it packs a lot of punch!

I love my 325, more everytime I drive it. I have the leatherette interior, works for me because of my active life style. Stock springs are too soft, and the shifter is vague. I miss 2nd and hit 4th once in a while. Handles like a dream, doesn't lean and with rear drive it assume the classic neutral tail out just a little when pushed thru the twisties. Oh yes the wonderful song of the engine at full song. It has much more room than I am used to, after stepping out of a two seater. Let's see, don't I have an errand to run today? Can't wait to go for another drive. LOL

Not sure if I'd ever be able to switch to any other brand. For the past 10 years wanted a 3-series and finally got a used one with 22K miles that just came off lease. What a car. For sure, an 'ultimate driving machine'. Styling, handling, precision, power, fit and finish, and fuel economy, all outstanding. It's tough to stay under the speed limit, the car just wants to go. Only one comment is that since this is a rear wheel drive car, handling in the snow is not great. Next time, I'll have to go for an all wheel drive.

Not only is the car responsive in its handling but also an eye catching beauty. BMW also strives to employ the best in customer service, so even when there is a minor adjustment to be made, it's still an enjoyable experience.

This thing is all about driving fun. If you're looking for a car that will please the passengers, look elsewhere, but for the driver, you don't need to look any further. The power from the 2.5L engine is surprisingly good considering it's modest power ratings. The handling, of course, is second to none. We own a 1999 BMW 540i with the Sports package, but this 3-series is alot more fun to play with, especially on winding roads.

This is my second 330. The first one had the performance package & cold weather package. This one has leather seats, Xenon headlights and heated seats -- but no cold weather package -- I do miss the headlight washers and drop down rear seat. However the handling and acceleration of my new 330 is a quantum leap above my first one. The 6 speed is much smoother and shorter than the 5 speed. Whereas the original had a softer ride, it had more body lean -- in the 330i PP you really feel much more in contriol as you take tight corners at speed -- and it defintiely sticks you back in the seat when you accelelrate. They're both great models --this as close to an M3 as you can get with 4 doors

This is a driver's car. If a soft insulated ride is your cup of tea, try one of the other luxo-cruisers. But if you love outstanding handling, sportscar acceleration and some of the finest seats on the planet, look no further. Our 330i came with the sport package which includes the sport seats, performance tires and sport steering wheel. It also came with the premium and cold weather packages. The handling is on a par with the best sports cars on the market. Interior details are tailored to the enthusiast driver but the center console cup holders (when holding a beverage) can get in the way of the shifting arm. And shift you will! The fantastic Steptronic 5 speed automatic is wonderful.

I previously owned a a 2001 325i (manual) sedan, and wanted more of a sporty car, so I picked the 330Ci (premium package, cold weather package, and sport package, steptronic). The handling makes this car, and horsepower makes a big difference. Steptronic in manual mode is a nice change from regular auto. Interior screams luxury. Best sports car I have owned.
