All good
Bought the 2018 V6 Premium model new. I've put about 5,000 miles on it, mostly city, but some off road climbing, sand, and even got to pull another vehicle out of deep sand. No problems. I like driving, so can put it in Dynamic mode and hustle it. Mostly keep it in Comfort mode for subdued city driving with the family. Sometimes can feel like a lot of body roll, but it's an SUV. Overall very happy with it.
A touch of class
I currently lease a 2018 Audi q7. Im over leasing so ive looked into comparable other cars before pulling the trigger. I looked at a BMW x7, Mercedes GLE and GLS, and Volvo xc90 t8,. All really great cars and they each have their own special features and i have to say, I'm still in love with the q7. However, i will say the driving/ handling, suspension and safety is far greater on the Mercedes compared to bmw, Volvo and Audi. Mercedes ride was so smooth it was unbelievable, and it's priced cheaper by 10k from the premium plus fully loaded q7, but there's no denying what the heart wants and that's my Audi. Audi sold me on the sporty look, the sleek flawless console, the sound system, the sun shades, the black optic package, the Audi lights as you step out of the car, the suede interior (on the prestige)... ugh, it's one sexy beast. If you can afford it, a q7 is the way to go.

Love it
I love everything about this vehicle, handling, gas mileage, performance and reliability and it still looks great
Comfortable and Safe
I love my Audi Q7. It has everything I want in an SUV. There are so many bells and whistles. It gets very good gas mileage for its size. The most important feature for me is that visibility is great. No blind spots. It holds the road. I love the Head’s Up Display. I feel very secure and safe in this car. And it has tremendous storage for carrying whatever you need when the back two rows of seats are folded down. I love the back massage feature on the heated seat.

Great SUV & wonderful dealership experience
My wife and I leased a Audi Q7 premium plus back in 2007 and then moved to MB GL450 for our last 2 leases as the design and features grew stale on the Q. Happy to report that we are back with Audi and very pleased with our new 2018 Q7 Prestige (fully loaded) as its comfort, interior design and technology are its greatest assets. However, I wish Audi would have taken more chances with the design as it is not as aggressive as some competitors as well as increased cargo space to include room for a spare tire and larger coffee cups. That being said, we are really enjoying the vehicle and I have to mention our experience with the new Hawthorne Audi dealership in NY was wonderful and my Audi Brand Specialist (salesman) Devin Wooten was just terrific to work with. Great size and handling, poor acceleration
I liked everything about this car except the performance. It needs an SQ7 variant to suit my needs. I was thinking of trading "up" from my '14 S7 to the Q7 only it isn't UP, it falls on its face. It needs more torque/HP to move the car along nicely. 333hp just isn't enough to keep this car from feeling sluggish, 400hp would be about right.

Great Ride!
At 6'.1" 230 lbs. this vehicle fits me like a glove. I test drove the Q5, however found it too compact for me. I bought the 2018 Q7 3.0T Premium which is supercharged not turbo. The only thing I dislike about the vehicle is no spare tire and 19 inch wheels. The 20 inch wheels look much better on this vehicle in my opinion. Next tire change I may go with run flats, however understand they make the ride firmer. The interior is very luxurious and the ride is smooth and sporty. I traded a 2010 Toyota Highlander knowing I am trading reliability for something luxurious and sportier.

Great Audi
Saw this on Edmunds it was rated a Great Buy. Compared it to other Audis in the area and it is a good value. Bought it from the Dealer who maintained it so comfortable with history. It is a pleasure to drive.

Nice car but extremely unreliable
I'm very frustrated with this car. It reminds me of my old bmw 750xi. Nice car, drives well, but its always down for repairs.

STAY AWAY
Leaking oil into engine, drive system malfunctions on a recurring basis, ignition coils need replacing due to oil leaks, spark plugs replaced all the time, so many other things i had to replace i forget--a total mess of a vehicle. Less than 80K miles and it was a fortune to keep running, all mechanics will tell you to stay away from the '16-'20 Audi Q7s.

Oil Burning Issues. But ride quality is very good
Be careful this 2018 Audi Q7 has a history of oil burning problem. Some common issues reported with a 2018 Audi Q7 include: potential problems with the infotainment system (PCM) requiring software updates, engine misfires particularly after cold starts, check engine light due to faulty knock sensors, uneven ride height from a faulty residual pressure holding valve, brake pedal pulsation, and occasional coolant leaks.

considering buying an Audi Q7 … DON’T
The Audi Q7 might look like the perfect luxury SUV—but under the surface, it’s hiding major problems. My 2018 Q7 suffered from recurring “Drive System Malfunction” and “Electrical System Failure” errors, leading to sudden loss of power while driving. Despite multiple visits to the dealership and thousands spent on repairs, the issue keeps returning. After researching online, I learned this is a common issue affecting many Q7 owners, yet Audi has not issued a recall or taken meaningful responsibility. This SUV might be premium in comfort, but it’s a gamble when it comes to reliability and long-term ownership.

So weak and easy to break!
Bought my wife a Q7 and were really enjoying it. It has a lot of great technology. Our son just got his learner's permit and has been practicing with my wife in the passenger seat. We have a clay pot near the corner of our garage door that hides the garden hose. My son mis-judged the 90 degree turn from our driveway into the garage and hit the pot. His speed was less than 5 miles per hour. The pot suffered no damage (if you get really close, you can see that there is a small stripe of the glazing that has lost a little of its sheen). The Q7, however, fell apart. I had no idea that the bumper and several of the front panels are only held on by clips. Also, some of the electronic sensors for the active cruise control were knocked out of adjustment. Total cost to repair the very fragile Q7 was $4,656.47 I can't imagine how costly the damage would have been if the Q7 was actually involved in a real accident. This is beyond a glass chin. Would its passengers even be safe considering that it falls apart so easily? We have begun to refer to the clay pot as the "Audi killer" or the "Q7 crusher". Consider yourself warned and stay far away.
