A great value - far better than the outdated 5-series, both of which I test-drove.

Second Audi

First Audi was a 98 A4 2.8 6 speed sport. This A6 also brings a smile to my face when I get behind the wheel. It isn't the fastest or the sportiest of the A6 line, it is simply a pleasure to drive. Was reluctant to give up shifting gears, however the CVT is a vast improvment over an automatic. No slop, no lag, no power loss. If you miss shifting, slip it into tip mode and blip thru six forward ratios. Handling is good even without sport suspension. Great interior. No regrets.

Wonderful Blend of Performance and Lux.

The 2.7 Turbo is amazing; with strong boost coming from way down in the rpm. It is so smooth that I had to constantly look down at the speedometer to prevent speeding tickets. The only complaints I have about the engine is that the sound is a bit mute and lacking a bit of excitement for me while some other might consider it refined. The throttle respond is also a bit strange. It's nice to have 6 gears with sporty handling in a car as large as this. I regret not ordering it without the inexpensive sport package which include sport seats, wheels, steering wheels, and suspension. The standard leather seats are too wide so I tend to slide around during corning.

Whoa, 2.7 liter V6 with bahaus designed twin turbo system. Can life get any sweeter? The interior is beyond beautiful, a PERFECT dash design. First class exterior. Plus twin turbos that BLAST you into the back seat! Not a single problem yet and I'm at 13,600 miles. I love this car and I'm in no hurry to get a new car and I've been spoiled by the best brands my other cars have been a 2000 Infiniti Q45, and a 2001 Lexus RX 300. I've never owned a better car and I never never will! Try to catch me Benz.
