Used 2006 Audi A3 2.0T 4dr Wagon (2.0L 4cyl Turbo 6A) Consumer Reviews
Pretty to look at, but don't buy it!
Great car, but not a month goes by without the check engine light coming on. 2 air conditioning compressors, misfiring cylinders, won't eject CDs, 1 qt of oil every 4K miles, 2 coolant leaks, leaking turbo inlet and seals, and on and on... I will NEVER buy another Audi, what a giant let down!
Just got it and love it
Just bought my A3 yesterday and I have to say that I am impressed. I went from the VW Jetta GLS VR6 to the smooth 2.0 T and it is night and day. The DSG transmission is a must. The open sky is very enjoyable. The car drives smoothly at low and high speeds and has enough kick to make it a sport's car.

Nice, practical, Little, fun car.
It is a very nice, peppy car with a turbocharged four, and still gets a 25 mpg int the city and 32 on the highway. Acceleration a bit jerky at the beginning, but once you are in seconds gear, the power starts pouring out. I was very impressed with the DSG automatic transmission, the shifts were so fast I did even feel the car jolt as it did it. Nice exhaust note for a 4 cylinder, and its looks are somtimes missed in a bland color, and aren't truely appreciated until you see the car in the brillant red color, (my color). It truely brings out the coolness of the car.
Excellent Sporty Choice
If you're looking at the Volkswagen or the WRX, take a look at the Audi. The DSG is a blast to drive, with the paddle shifting responding quickly. Comfort is sweet in the front, almost like sitting on cardboard boxes in the back, not good.
The perfect commuter car
Living in Los Angeles, this car nearly perfectly suits my urban needs. The DSG transmission is brilliant. It actually shifts faster than the manual, which (according to Motortrend) translates to faster 0-60 times than the manual as well. Shifting is as easy as driving a playstation car- yet a visceral experience equal to the best of any performance car I've driven. The 2.0T is perky, and offers plenty of performance- unfortunately, more than the suspension and all-season tires can handle. Fit and finish are typical Audi- which is to say exceptional. The interior is a blend between the A4 and the TT. It isn't nearly as industrially stark as the TT, and yet not as anonymous as the A4.
