RL and Star Wars

The quality and overall technology put into this vehicle is outstanding. The voice recognition features and use of technology is the best I've seen in any vehicle. I've owned BMW's, an Audi A6 (Quattro) and Mercedes. I and have test driven Infiniti's M35. Based upon my experience the Acura is the most user friendly vehicle I've encountered. While it is quick, the Acura could use more low end torque to get it off the line quicker and a little more responsive, such as Infiniti has done with the M35.

1st Car I've Loved

I've had a lot of cars that I've liked a lot - 1st Cutlass, 1st Toronado, 1st Jeep, 1st Aurora, 1st Lincoln LS, 1st Lexus SUV - this is the 1st car I thoroughly love. It is a "gadget" lover's dream. The power, the ride, the engineering are all superb.

Dependable but boring

I wish the Acura RL could use "real looking wood" like my 05 Acura TL did... it's so plastic looking. It is a great car though. Seems not as sporty as a car like a 5 series, but reliability is its strong suit. 80,000 miles on it and plan on keeping for long term... only issue is it is boring (true disclosure most cars after a while bore me:).

A great overall car. Trunk is a bit small and I wish the rear seat folded down since space is already limited, but it is what it is. I can't understand why the radio can't display the CD (especially a DVD-A) info with song names, etc. And the FM RDS which is pretty standard nowadays is also missing....hmmmm? Oh, and why the heck did Acura change the lug and hub pattern of this car so that I can't get any aftermarket rims until the wheel manufacturers catch up to the new layout.... But, overall, I love the car. I guess nothing is perfect.

I picked up the car and at once felt comfortable and secure. On the highway home was at 80 MPH and didn't feel a thing. Handles like a dream and on curves the SHAWD is GREAT. Learning the voice commands takes a little time but worht it . Best car in the market segment for the money.
